For better organizing of inventory, being able to put item groups inside containers such as backpacks would be pretty nice

Please offer us some skins for the large and small magical chest models. The ones we have are... not necessarily in keeping with the rest of the game. Give us something like the new casket skin, or like the existing alchemist's cupboard, or like the recent skeleton themed chest, or... almost anything.

Even just making it so that sleep powder can't be eaten once we use x hours of coffee bonus in y time would be a big preventative measure against coffee becoming the new skill grind meta.

It says nowhere that you offer this, but I figured I'd ask just in case you will consider it: do you take orders? I see no tomatoes in your list of veggies and I'd love to outsource a bunch of high ql tomatoes

I agree with the way you think coffe should work, but I think the method to reach it is slightly wrong. If the reason to remove fatigue from coffe is due to other factors tied to fatigue itself then I ask we find another way to do this. You therefore stated that sleep bonus should be burned faster (even faster then times 2?) so that you can use less sleep bonus from coffe and therefore miss out on skills in the end compared to a regular grind. This is a good balance between casuals getting a boost vs grinders still gaining more in the end, I agree thus far. However the problem with this is that getting sleep powder isnt really a big issue for those who played long enough to have a good foothold in the market, most new players sell their precious sleep powder to earn their first few silver in the market and this sleep powder goes straight to the more serious grinders. I feel like this system tries to be something really good but will ultimately just benefit the elite playerbase the most in the end and punish the new. A possible solution to this that I see, is if we add so that coffe does indeed maybe drain 2.5x SB for 2x skill gain but once you use 5 hours SB you get a debuff preventing you from consuming more sleep powder instead, meaning you cannot refill your SB after the use of 5 hour coffe for a 24 hour peroid, replacing the intoxication system. This will prevent coffe from being combined with rediculous amounts of SB grind and will also aim to aid the players who can play 5 hours or less daily. Summerize in theory: 5 Hours grind with Sleep Bonus without Coffe would yield the regular 100% for 300minutes of effective grind. 2,5 Hours with Sleep Bonus and Coffe would yield as comparison 200% for 150 minutes of effective grind but consume "6,25 hours of Sleep bonus from the SB bar" and place a 24 hour lock to SB refill from powder only. Sorry for being late to giving input hope you still have time to take this into account @Keenan

Oh when I came up with the idea, I was thinking of the Haven as to the east of Stormfall (the server). I forgot it is now ambiguous where it is in relation to Stormfall since we use a portal. But treat it like it is to the east. Yeah it is 7 players.

Would be nice. Specially for regular chests / magic chests. "Group : Food" ; "Group : Tools" ; "Group : Weapons", etc. Easier on the eyes.

Tangle me. Igor will be the character (since part of his role is to go where he is sent). In it's current form, I am not sure how this can be achieved, because there aren't 4 servers mapped to 2D that will be online concurrently. It would seem to require a player being stranded on a storm server, or mapping The Haven onto the cluster map somehow. Part of the puzzle, I guess. Do we know where The Haven would be geographically in relation to the other servers? Either way, I don't think we will get this done in January, so I am thinking we work out who is in, and start to work out target locations once we have numbers assigned. Just to make for-sure certain, this is 7 players, not characters, correct? We can't double up with two already-in-play characters?

So I love the AH update, I really do. (CHONKY PONEHS FOR LYFE!) But in my opinion mules could really do with some improvements! For one, and this is the most important thing for me, they really are too small. Especially when you consider their pulling power! They're stronger than 4 draft horses but are somehow less than half the size!? I'd really like to see them a bit bigger and be a size that fits their performance better. Another thing (that I don't expect to see any time soon but would be nice!) would be to have mules' colours vary according to the colour of their horse mother. ie if you had an ebony mare you could get a black mule, and so on. Very nice deed for sure I did finally get to visit, but silly me parked my boat and went off on foot to explore the shops, forgetting I was leading my horse. So the very first footbridge I went over ate the horse (she fell through it and down to get stuck in a wall where I couldn't reach her) so I had to bother a GM to come and save her lol, Will come again another day and try that explore again, just won't bring my horsey with me this time

As much as I love having the ability to diversify items and materials, I would honestly wish Epic would get some mention in these updates. Epic forums are as dead as the servers themselves (well Serenity is doing semi - ok from what I have heard, but 1 server in 4 doing ok isn't the best indicator for an entire cluster). Just some idea what to expect from Epic in 2022. Should I bother paying for upkeep there?

To be honest don't understand your mixed feelings on how to proceed. for point 1, it already does that perfectly, i'm having a blast since it was introduced. for point 2, except for missing water cap override, and maybe more manageable timer i don't find it hard to use. but this is comming for perspective of experience player, i understand it might be confusing for new players, but then again everything is confusing more or less for new players it's a nature of the game it takes time to grasp things, not sure this feature should be meant for them at the very start, i see it more for some mid point of the game to give them boost after honeymoon period with game is passed and they think about quitting. point 3, if you get slightly more skill gain with 5h of regular bonus instead with 2.5h with 100 power coffein that would do it i guess, but even if same you can't abuse it cuz of intoxication. Also i don't think it needs to be more easier to make as people who grind beverages also deserve spot on market. but that also adds to case that feature isn't meant for total newbs but entry point is midlevel players, which i thinks its fine. And i must stress out that i very dissapointed with decission to leave out meditation and lockpicking, i agree that skills need rework(also thing that no one mentiones gives more use for lockpicking on pve), but leaveng them out untill fix feeles like bigger evil. For the end i would like to point what this update was for me as not really casual player but grinder who doesn't have much time. It meant that i can compress my limited grinding time and have time to enjoy wurm in other ways, like exploring and doing some fun stuff that don't give skill, instead of spending all my limited time grinding which is not fun. And proposed changes hits the spot perfectly for me.

As a casual player, I haven’t got a meditation tick in the last 2 days. I feel like I should be rewarded for it, if and when that tick comes while I have caffeine bonus active.

So what exactly would be wrong with keeping caffeine as is and just add some QOL of life stuff? Would prevent a huge window of opportunity, which is usually the worst offenders to seperate newer and older players, and with the fatigue limit, faster meditation and stuff it really does benefit newer players. And I've personally enjoyed doing more chill stuff after running out of fatigue, enjoying the game more, despite the total skillgain throughout the day is less than I wouldve gotten if I used up my fatigue without caffeine.

Zexos was something that just came to me when I was thinking of a name for my Redbubble store, a few years ago. I have used it ever since in a few different places as my name.

Not a character name but IRL nickname, I got one a similar way. I telephoned a friend, and assuming he recognized my voice just began a conversation when he said "Who is this?" For some completely random reason I said "Your Uncle Fred." (Fred is not even close to my name). Now, 20 something years later, he and his whole family still call me Uncle Fred, much to the confusion of everyone else.

My player name started out of a bit of anonymity back when yahoo was still in its early days and we were all using netscape or explorer, or aol or that other one... um compuserv I think.... It was a partial random name that came up when I signed up for something back then and it had a bit of a history behind it from my youth. But its not really a fashionable name, just ended up with it and stuck with it for trying to avoid spam and other undesirable things. I still use it today to keep people from realizing who it was that they were in communication with. Enki on the other hand... A : It was cast up on me by the gods, marking me forever with that name as i ran out of ink to finish the entire name Enkiceptrilimanduvorzarous B : It's my actual name! Check out my license plates!
