Community Assistant: Open

Lead Chat Moderator - Belisama

Spoiler

The Wurm Online public chat channels are available to everyone and are used for communication among players across the game to trade, to socialize, and to ask questions. We bring Wurmians who have shown the ability to be helpful in answering basic game mechanics questions in the CA Help channel onto the CA team.

Wurmpedia Manager - Oluffus

Spoiler

The Wurm Online Wurmpedia is a resource provided by game designers to enable players to collect and share information about every aspect of this deeply complex game. Now in its 18th year, the Wurmpedia has amassed over 96,000 edits across 2,900 articles, contributed by you, the player.

Wurmpedia Editor(WE) Applications

Wurmpedia Editor Account applications are always open! To make a Wurmpedia account, click on the "Create Account" link in the top-right corner of any Wurmpedia page. Your involvement as an editor can be as small as making your own personal or settlement page, or you can start contributing to the Wurmpedia in general by taking pictures of items we need, contributing knowledge you’ve gained while playing by writing a guide, or doing research on a Wurm topic you love. Editors are required to follow general Wurm chat rules and Wurmpedia rules when editing. Please feel free to join the Wurmpedia Discord if you have questions or just to say hi.

For additional information on Wurmpedia Editor Accounts see here.

Wurmpedia Assistant(WA) Applications

Editors interested in taking on a greater responsibility with the Wurmpedia may apply for the role of Wurmpedia Assistant. These persons help with greater Wurmpedia projects, such as formatting large volumes of pages, gathering information for new groups of articles, reorganizing pages etc. They develop and write guides and articles for players, review recent changes to ensure uniformity, remove Wiki vandalism, and guide new editors in learning the Wurmpedia.

Applications will only be accepted from members found to be in good standing within the Wurm Online community.

This is a VOLUNTEER position and our current staff directory can be found here.

All Wurmpedia Assistant applications should be sent in a forum PM to WM Oluffus

You don’t need advanced Wiki management or Wurm skills, but it would help to have:

  • A good grasp of written English (if you speak another language, we may have projects for you!)
  • The ability to work with a team and abide by team decisions (No egos here! Okay, minimal egos...)
  • The ability to acknowledge when you are wrong and tell others kindly when they are wrong (you haven’t really Wiki’d until you’ve made some ridiculous spelling mistake in an edit or managed to completely ruin a template)
  • A love of bulleted lists
  • If you have specific skills that would help, let us know!
  • You must be a Wurm player in good standing. You don't have to be premium, but you must be trustworthy.
  • You must be present in the Wurmpedia discord.
