  1. Thats perfectly possible in freedom, with 1s a day you can drop several deeds to block someone, probably you can achieve the same with way less money too.
  2. The only thing that will promote roleplay are roleplayers, and a community that shuts itself off from the rest of Wurm completely. Ive seen more recent roleplay games work, but with systems that are built specifically for that purpose, and also heavily moderated. Its the nature of the game to have a director of some sort, not only to mediate, but to move stories along too.

  5. Thats sweeping the problems under the rug. If every issue is treated that way, all the problems will resurface eventually. The suggestions should be made in the most optimistic and thought out way, devs can later choose what to do and what not to based on their schedule. But limiting the ideas brought to the suggestion threads (Ive seen a trend in this) is shooting ourselves in the foot from the get go. A couple of years of just quick patches to balance issues without planing the gods and priests aspect as a whole, can only lead to.... I guess it can only lead to the current system, wich is not optimal, to say the least.

  7. Thats a bandaid at the most. The system needs a fix, even if all the mechanics are left as they are now, the interface is one of the worst Ive seen in any game, and so are the animations. And not just the quality of the animations is terrible, the ammount of animations during combat are insanely low. People sell packs of animations a lot better and more abundant in SL for 10-20 bucks, hell, they make motion capture animations with a fricking xbox camera, why a game studio cant even match that quality is beyond my understanding. Also the fact that combat only exists in a text window is not something to be proud of in 2016.
  8. Are you crazy? I wouldnt go through that trouble, besides I work, I cant stay up all night playing games. And I agree that a ballance has to be met. But instead of leveling the Gods, how about allowing the same usage of gods across all kingdoms? But keeping each god unique. If you think a specific god is not fullfilling its specific role, or underpowered, that is a different issue, and requires a different suggestion.

If you think Mag has an unfair advanage, become Mag. If the oposite kingdom has an advantage you think intolerable, switch kingdom. Diferent deities (at least the original ones) had diferent traits, you chose to forsake the Magranon benefits by pursuing a diferent deity, it was always your choice.

  14. I agree that "autodisband after X drains" is a rather flat variable, for how convulted wurm is. Maybe a proper siegue and capture mechanic. If the invaders can hold the deed captive for X ammount of time, then it counts as a capture. Maybe a deed can get disbanded after a certain ammount of captures. That number could depend on the age of deed, or the number of settlements in the alliance. This is just brainstorming, Im not saying that this should be the specific suggestion. What I do know is that just asking to get payed more from raiding doesnt feel like a sound game mechanic. Maybe provide bonuses to siegue equipments for the players involved in a capture. Like I said, there are a million things to make the experience better, getting stuck on getting more coins as a fix is a bit redundant.
  15. and if kazakhstan held their elections in your country, you would probably express your opinion. And this is my opinion, I understand that the PvP people want the chance to completely uproot a settlement, but maybe the transfer of money is not the way to go around it. There are a million other ways to make this possible, so I was asking, why dont you people who are really involved, think of other possible ways to achieve this uproot-deed mechanic in a way that is not dependant to upkeep funds. Maybe a way that is more involved in the game itself, and does not rely on how much money is being poured into a deed.
  16. +1 to an overhaul, but not reflex dependant, since lag is a common thing in-game, and people from diferent geographical places will experience diferent degrees of latency.

  21. I wish I could support your work somehow, but I cant craft high quality mauls/axes, nor I have the spirit to spend hours bashing.
