had to log in to test this and I have to say that 3rd person view is freaking awesome toggle view with v button hold left mouse button and scroll with scroll wheel to zoom

Few games speak to my introverted nature as well as Wurm does. And intense projects with intervalls of low or no time in the game suits me fine.

But why have missions that are never going to be completed in time? Like killing 500 blue whales. No one is going to work towards that goal.

I often lack a sense of depth perspective when decorating in first person. So I look forward to check out the 3rd person view.

I miss the very scary huge champ crocs. And the colorful blue (slow) large spiders. The ones we have now are also cool but a bit toned down. -

We have seen three attempts (Epic, Challenge and Jackal) of making a server/cluster with special rules. Epic had some success years ago, but it is gone now as far as I can see. Challenge died very quickly. Jackal saw some pupularity in the beginning but is now slowly fading. I doubt that a restart will see the same player surge as it had on day one. I understand that Steam will get its own server which will be separate from the rest to start with so the noobs dont riot on the core servers (is that really a problem with deeds and permissions?) But I hope the devs have learned from this and will focus their effort on the core cluster in the future.

One half-filled fsb will sustain multiple people for IRL years. There is no need to grow crops reguarly. It feels a bit weird.

I have grinded up skills on a PvE server for years. Then suddenly, Lo and Behold, there finally comes a new PvE server, but Im not able to go there with my skills and do PvE! I have to skill up again. No thank you. Also, why must every PvE thing in wurm require large groups of players? Rifts, unique hunts and Jackal all seem like they were lazily designed. "Lets just make one big thing and let everybody come there" What I want is a hunting server on the Freedom cluster. No travel restrictions. Some new mob group mechanics so you have to fight several mobs at a time. Higher spawn chance of champ/green etc mobs. Let some mobs be able to wreck buildings/walls. If you want to spice things up, add in rare low count glimmer/addy/seryll veins.

When a barrel has been sealed with a peg it should not have be sealed again with a new peg if you open it. The old peg should automatically be reused.

I hope my two fatal encounters with a brown bear on Jackal will not impact my skills back on Freedom. 😂 The bears finally got some payback after years of hunting them.

If we can avoid that elite groups defeat the Stronghold on their own (and spoil the fun for everyone else), this could be a great improvement for PvE. Looking forward to trying it out!
