  1. there's plenty of real animals in the game, just remove the fantasy ones. maybe work on a similar version of the drowning system, but make it a 'hunger' wound when food or water bar drops to 0%
  2. true, but foraged money is free. you still would not have spent real cash.
  3. Damn Sin, i was just gonna write that! Definitely the best way for a new player is to forage for a while and buy WoA tools.
  4. trade chat does a great job of consolidating spam to one disableable tab as current usage proves people will always bypass the system (ie using PC and then typing as normal) charging for it would just make people bypass it and spam in other channels. defeating the whole purpose of it. it's a great spam filter! if it aint broke dont fix it.

  16. The trouble with npc's is they use player mechanics ..so don't stay dead. when you kill them they respawn at the spawn town after a while.
  17. dedicates vs integral server is simply that when you shut an integral client the server has to close too, otherwise you cannot get back in. IMO you should always pick dedicated. to open your server to the world you'll have to fiddle with your internet router and/or firewall and open a port. and as each one is different you'll have to break out the manuals.

  22. i noticed that the characteristics don't seem to be affected by the skill multiplier.
  23. at teh title. created a HoTA zone and waited until the start. only 3 pillars out of 10 appeared. makes it kinda difficult to capture 4 really. used GM toon to check the area, the other pillars are invisible and cannot be accessed.
  24. mama was listing the tile x/y. the x/y your'e referring to is in game 'metres'. the two figures are roughly 4x the other, so on your 4096x4096 map you have positional coordinates of 16384x16384 it also uses 3 decimal places to narrow down the exact location of items on the floor.
  25. just log in a GM and type in chat; #locate dragon #locate kyk #locate king #locate leader #locate giant if they're there it'll put the location in the event tab, if not, it'll ignore the command.
