  1. It's got a bit of carpentry, shipbuilding, leatherworking. With the focus on nature skills it might be a nice start for a Fo priest. I'd suggest to get more activity lower the starting bid and increments. Good luck with the sale.
  2. Knarr

I'm guessing you can't pick up, but I have one for sale on xanadu for 9.5s
  3. I've edited this to show that you pretty much just made the case for both sides. This is actually what some people were so vocal about when Xanadu launched: "traders supported my deed upkeep, now I will have to pay for it with real money, or find some other way to finance it" Money redistribution is an odd system, I don't understand why the game needs it at all. Free players can play without ever needing in game currency, but they can always earn it through bulk sales. Does foraging and "sell"ing really make more in game cash than good old-fashioned trading?
  4. Agree with the last two points - we don't know what we are voting on. Devs can you please pay attention to this. Nevertheless, I have voted no - even though I had two trader deeds in the past, I always thought the system was a bad one that only benefitted investors. If it was actually supposed to represent a small investment into wurm with a long-term dividend, then that is what was achieved for a while. Now however the return is a lot more sporadic (I still have one trader on my old main deed). With that in mind, I am not sure whether I would place traders on xanadu. What I am interested to know is - are the public traders at starter towns being drained for huge amounts of king's coffers upkeep that must exist? Is that being exploited? Or are they not drainable.
  5. Thanks for the dioptra, works well.
  6. One 90ql dioptra mailed to Andobi please.
  7. I have two sailboats for sale. Sailboat 80c [10:10:39] A small sailing boat that will accommodate five people. It is locked with a lock of very poor quality. It is made from maplewood. You must use a file to smooth out the "Sailboat for sale" in order to improve it. Ql: 59.66204, Dam: 0.0. It is moored here. The name of the owner, Andobi, has been etched in the stern. [10:10:39] You can barely make out the signature of its maker, 'K.kk.'. Sailboat 60c [10:12:22] A small sailing boat that will accommodate five people. It is made from maplewood. You must use a file to smooth out the small sailing boat in order to improve it. Ql: 55.76348, Dam: 0.0. The name of the owner, Kikki, has been etched in the stern. [10:12:22] You can barely make out the signature of its maker, 'K.kk.'. Pickup at Xanadu S10 Valendriel.
  8. GLSL shader

Maybe there is a specific model that crashes with GLSL on. Have you tried moving your character and relogging somewhere else? Or other potential variables.
  9. GLSL shader

Do you have up to date graphics drivers direct from ATI or Nvidia?
  10. Yes for Newspring island that is not far off the truth. On the map it looks about 3x3 km.
  11. We live just next to Unluckyone and we wouldn't want a big bridge crossing from Newspring to his deeds.
  12. Bought crops, will trade again. Recommended!
  13. That makes sense, and WoA probably contributes significantly to that aspect.
  14. My experience is that it is time based. It could be that there is a speed element (indeed it was stated here that moving very slowly allows permanent stability) but I have not investigated that and for now I will leave that to others Although Wurmhole posted ship-based speeds and it looked to be linear there: Anyone have any evidence to the contrary?
  15. Where? I went to have a look but can't see where you are planning it.
