Invisible Items So Far, Farming Nerf, More Bad Things

In a mine rock shards are not showing up at all on the floor for me. If I drop an iron ore into a tile where shards are supposed to be it makes a pile and I can see the shards as items then. 


 


Forge not rendering in a mine. It's gone.


 


This new farming thing is stupid and nothing more than an elegant explanation of how to nerf it. I have 66 farming and now I get 4 things instead of 6 when I harvest potato and pumpkin tonight.


 


On my desktop that uses an ATI card, my fps went down to 30 from over 100. How can that be considered an "upgrade in performance" that this update promised?


 


New slots on the body of character are annoying and yet more micro management that is pointless, only slows you down and takes more time. 


 


Really? Is this supposed to be 1.1? Is this a late April Fool's Day joke? Disappointing all the way around, and certainly not good after the price increase.

It seems that I am missing a number of lamps in my mine. Also I had just left about 8 different piles of rock shards in my mine. Went to get a cart, came back and all the piles are missing.

Bump! Missing animals, people, doors, wheels on carts. large chests, the list goes on....

Try set al textures to 1024 or less - it helped to some our guys

 

Thanks. This worked for me. I had my Max texture size set to 'no limit', reduced it to 1024 and now I can see my lamps and piles of shards again. :D

In this particular case it was a laptop using Nvidia hardware, not ATI. Did not check mines with the ATI equipped PC yet.

I have the same problem only my card is ATI. Magically disappearance of items thing is a bit dumb. Man, this client is awesome!(the sarcasm was strong in this one)

One of my villagers complained that his forges were gone, so I assume so.

At least 3 horses that were in a mine gone invisible I guess, since there's no corpses anywhere.

On my laptop with ATI card stone double doors are invisible and I can only see the hair and backpacks of characters in the world.  Also, some mobs seem to be invisible, too.  


My desktop with nvidia didn't have any rendering issues until today when I logged in and my token was invisible and not selectable.  Had me scared for a moment, heh.  Walked away then back to token and it reappeared.

Today from Nvidia based machine, same issue in mines. Forge not rendered, bulk bin not rendered, certain barrels not rendered, shards are being rendered. 


Doing a "refresh" in console brings the invisible items back until you exit the client and it is back to invisible again.

First, as I understand it, "refresh" is for terrain, not items/walls. Also, turn up your model loading thread priority - fixes this.

I do, items don't seem to render when they come into range, and i have to do a manual " refresh" in console to get things like forges / lamps / bsbs etc to render.

Running Intel cpu and an Nvidia gfx card.

 

 

First, as I understand it, "refresh" is for terrain, not items/walls. Also, turn up your model loading thread priority - fixes this.

 

Refresh also works on items not just terrain.

Yes on 2 different computers, 1 nvidia and 1 ati. When mining nothing shows up

Spirit guard is invisible with glsl disabled.
 
EDIT: Only artificial light sources (torch, street lamps, etc.) are cast on spirit guards, not sunlight.

invisible stumps after cutting down tree still exists also...remove stump its collision is still there...
