As far as i'm aware, the 5 perimeter tiles that you get as a minimum are free. You don't pay to get them , and they have no upkeep cost. You only pay for perimeter if you go beyond the free 5 tiles.

Not voted because you have missed out an option " Patch when they are ready to ". I prefer that they patch when they are ready too. Whether that falls at the start of the week or the end doesn't matter to me. If that means a 3 hour (time given is used as an example only) downtime during my play time, then i am fine with it.

Going by that , not a single new player would ever get invited to join a village / alliance because how would anyone know if they are trustworthy without actually giving them a chance ......... +1 from me for the OP, I'm all for security holes being fixed.
