Ive Found A Easter Egg Left My Notch!

Like the title say, ive found a easter egg that Notch left.

Its a creeper face on the rock texture, look at it.

I see the creeper face, but as it has been pointed out...Minecraft, let alone creepers were not created yet. therefore there is no way that this was left by notch.

And if I'm not mistaken the rock texture has been redone since Notch left.

And Notch wasn't a graphics guy. He just made awesome maps.
