There is the myth about pilgrims, bad winters, and nice Native Americans and there is also the one about the tide turning in favor of the North during our costly civil war in the 1800s. There is also the religious one that has little to do with the other two. The one thing they all three seem to have in common is eating turkey, drinking ale (beer), and watcthing American Football - although that part was not around for any of the 3 stories.
