  1. You are missing the point completely, when you press F2 and you are a priests, thats the list of all the things you CANT do, down to basic survival. When it comes to catering the basic needs, a priest is below a free account, and it shouldnt. Imagine if suddenly, Shipbuilders couldnt do any type of farming/cooking/forestry action, because "they are supposed to be part of a community, if you want to build ships, you have to be in a village". Rebalancing is good and all, but it does not adress any of the issues, and to be honest, I have no hope that the devs will make a rebalancing that is both sound, and not f*cking over PvE priests.
  2. That makes absolutely no sense. GMs already have to worry about ofensive names on structures and Im sure they dont wander around wurm checking for names, but rather, playes report offensive names for GMs to look at. Bridges would make no difference.
  3. Hmmm... spells to simulate crafting/harvesting actions would be nice. It wouldnt compete with regular crafters/harvesters because of the favour pool limit, and would allow priests to do all types of actions, at a cost of favour per action. So they could chop down one tree to get fuel, in order to cook, but woulnt be able to clear cut an area, might be able to grow some vegetables for sustenance, but not enough to replace a farmer, etc. So you could at least satisfy all the basic needs. The skill used for the action could be tied to faith or channeling, and capped at something reasonable like 50, to keep priets out of the competitive pool of crafters. They would still need crafters and harvesters for quality items, big houses, to fill stores of food, etc. But at least a main, solo priest, wouldnt be absolutely helpless.
  4. No one is asking for demolishing, just moving outside of deed, and if your PC catches fire, Im very sorry for you, but not my problem, get your sh-it out of my property. If it was a supreme boat with clippings of rolfs hair in it, its the same, take care of YOUR property, no one should be forced to babysit your sh-it for you. And no one is being vengeful, but when you PAY MONEY to have your deed, you expect a certain ammount of control over it, particularly in PvE where you dont have other means of control. If you are being an annoyance to the person who is paying for that land, the owner of that land should be able to move your items outside of his property. Its simple and pretty logical. TL:DR: get off my lawn!
  5. Easiest solution, dont park your boat where you are not wanted. And if you, deal with the consecuences.
  6. +1 Imposible to box someone any more than now, since you would still be able to choose perimeter size. If you are worried about people boxing you in, keep a perimeter, if you want to build adjacent deeds, lower the perimeter. Everyone happy.
  7. +1 to move boats on deed or to obliterate them with increased decay, shouldnt need to call a GM to move stuff arond an owned deed.
  8. +1, Id like to rename some bridges.
  9. This would ruin the arrowmakers business!! just kidding, big +1, Ive left arrows sprayed all over Deli, would have loved to pick them up.
  10. +1 again and everytime this suggestion crops up.
  11. 1- I take offense to being called a Troll, I dont argue to get a reaction, I argue because I honestly disagree with you and because I know you apreciate the attention. 2- Its not the only perk, Id rate the speed and success rate as far more important, since it can take forever for a low skilled player to make a ship. 3- I think this thread should respawn at the suggestions forum.
  12. Im not mocking shipbuliders, Im mocking you personally. Shipbuilders would be unaffected by a 15min speed boost, since it would, as I understand the suggestion, accumulate with other modifiers. So a good ship would still be valuable. And while I initially -1 this suggestion, I think that if spells are added across the board with identical specifications, it wouldnt affect the balance between deities even further. However, if the effect or implementation varies depending on white/black, cluster, gender, deity of choice or overlaps with meditation skills, then it would just make things even worse, particularly in the forums where rivers of tears have been cried already over this.
  13. What are you even talking about?! Adding a slight boost to sailing speed is going to end up with events being stolen from people from other servers? That is the most nonsensical reason Ive ever heard to oppose a suggestion. Why not vouch to abolish food boosts, because, you know, people from other servers will grind more effectively with it, and craft better boats wich will be faster, wich will obviously end up in them going to another server to steal stuff. /repeat with every single game mechanic
  14. Conversely, you could say that a lot of work has been put into it, since, look at how many new deities have been made available in the last 4 years. That is exclusive content for the priest class! (I hate the player gods system, but Im playing devils advocate) While Im not oposed to new possible spells, (Like an AD&D cantrip spell) with how f ucked up the current system is, its like adding fuel to an already burning turd. The reason I mentioned cantrip, is because its a spell with no real consecuences or alignment and could be just given to every priest regardless of what deity the follow. But any spell more specific than that, seems to me, would just make the system harder to fix, IF a fix is going to come at some point.
  15. I dont think that number of spells added is a metric of how fast or slow the game advances. Particularly when there are so many issues concerning the distribution of those spells amongst the different followers.
  16. So, you say that you know for a fact that Rolf is playing Minecraf AS WE SPEAK ?
  17. It doesnt matter, its already coming. You should join the new times and just +1 the suggestion, since it doesnt affect you negatively. If you want to be really mean though, you should lobby to make the mirrors hard to get, but I dont think you would be that much of a grinch.
  18. Under the armour and coifs/helms, all that will change is shoulder/hip ratio and boobs, maybe beards. I take more visual cues from garments than from gender identifying traits in Wurm.
  19. +1 But lets please stay clear from the typical, tacky, lion statue. And explore other possibilities, like: Its truth that renaissance aesthetics resonates more with the common, modern people, but their motifs are so over used. And in the other hand, sculptures from earlier periods, while not as referntial, have a lot cool aesthetic points to them, and are not as watered down as lions resting in front of a gate/door.
  20. I want to have faith, but that "How do you get it in WO?" line gave me chills. I just hope its not the worst possible system available, for a change.
  21. Gelding

Huge -1, this is amongst the worst suggestions Ive seen in a while. And I already have ridiculous ammounts of horses for breeding, so it wouldnt affect me particularly.
  22. Im not surprised or horrified, while there is a lot of cool people in Wurm, it cant be denied that there is a considerable chunk that is rotten to the core. And while I may be an ###### on the forums, I never stole items or accounts from friends or former players. The guys defending the indefensible, and creating excuses for the slimy players, and accusing the victims of being "easy targets", to ME, are as rotten as the shamed ones on the OP list, and I encourage people to remember those names too, because if they are on the same lenghtwave, its just a matter of providing them with an oportunity to show their true colours (like the poster said a few posts above).
