  1. I don't want to share my work thatrs why I never posted it for others to have. I however did share it with a single server when I was shutting mine down which I play on in my spare time.And I do get credit for my work on the server. Note I did not publish it as a mod to people only 1 guy Reqieum of Wurm.
  2. I'm not saying people can't use the same images I used there royalty free on the web. What My complaint is they didn't do it but claimed so and did not ask me and allowed others to download the work. I had a few interested in editing the models in Wurm. I have converted all wagon models and ship models I have to an easy to edit PNG file. They are uploaded to my google drive, link is below. Is this fair no.
  3. Lame and rude and to sorry to make there own alterations. You think I was born with the ability to do the things I do to your surprise I wasn't. I had to learn and it's just rude to take with out permission. But I guess this world now has no morals any more.
  4. So your saying when we do any modifying and add a disclaimer for the use of downloaded content people are free to just take regardless there is a disclaimer posted? You might as well add in your TS for WU any content you alter is free to everyone.

  7. yes but you have my textures on google drive to be downloaded by any one with no disclaimer nor was i asked for permission.
  8. When I altar said texture it becomes my handy work because it is no longer offical WO nor WU texture which you was given.
  9. Yes I can Copyright them. CC gave me rights to mod there content and when I change said content textures it becomes my design even tho some of there's remain the new image becomes mine. There fore you need my permission to use the textures or models etc... even down to code I add.

    Remove the content you are allowing people to download that is not yours and do not try to put it on your server you have been warned action is already being taken for breach of the TS agreement when you downloaded the graphics pack from Reqieum of Wurm. I have tons of proof who created said textures and the files on my machine to back that up and every post of screen shots with links.
  11. To all server owners be warned I will take legal action and in the process right now of taking action for a breach of the TS of the use of Reqieum of Wurm Model/texture pack. World of wounders is posting copyright material that si not there creation. Be warned do not follow in there foot steps. I've given no one the rights to use any modified texture I have created other than Reqieum of Wurm any one caught using or distributing said material will have legal action taken.

  14. Try my friends server Requiem of wurm deeds are free so no need to pay for deeds or upkeep and he is adding a ton of my stuff from foreverlands to his server after me shutting mine down there are people who play there and I think you wouldn't go wrong trying it out.
  15. I have to redo a ton of models and make them multi/sub the ones I have issues with is the ones using bones to make animations etc.. like wagons ships chairs with sit ability. I really need some guide here on how to export / fix the bone issues cause in max they which I'm familiar with not maya the bones seem to be made into dummies and a article i read up on said this was a issue with exported maya models being imported into 3dsmax.
  16. Ok need some help from a real good modeler hint Saroman. I have some issues which no luck finding info on on web. You'll at CC know by now my increase in textures but I have stretched this to adding back in the wood textures as well. There are 2 ways to go about this the hard way which will be the way you don't want to go and the easy way you should go. Hard way: make a texture for each item with each wood type. Issues: more textures than you need to many textures having to load in memory when near x amount of objects. Best and correct way: Make the model multi/sub then make a set of wood grains and a set of second texture then call them on the mapping.txt. Issue I ran into is when I import the original model into max I'm no modeler so I'm trying to learn here it breaks the bones you have created for animations etc... and turns them into dummies so when I export the model back out after remapping the material id's for example the high chair the sit ability no longer exist. Pic below chair no texture with sit ability and new multi/sub chair with broken sit ability. I need help in what I need to do to get the sit working again. Do i make new bones? is there something I can do to turn the dummies back to workable bones before exporting. Or are you using dummies and what am i doing wrong on the export to cause them to break?

  18. I still think they need to expand the animal color system to include bulls, cows, calfs, wolfs, bears etc... and make new skins. Then I think wurm is missing some of the common stuff that should be re done just like the cooking system was done. Example Domestic Animals Animal Trainning Breeding Grooming Wild Animals fight training and domestic animal training skills Animal training = walking animals and riding animals to build up leg strength the more you do it the better the animals strength gets swimming the more a animal does it they get a little faster swimming with a player on there back teach animal how to walk different, run, trot with a style like show horses do. it is just basically a new animation/trait missing animals would be the mule, fox, tiger, male lion. there is stuff like animal washing use bucket water and lye soap, this could help prevent disease.
  19. I have 8 drapes for the window that was just the zebra. I matched the drapes with the furniture styles. Thats just my first version but I have more versions just not finished. Like hanging box above rather than a rod etc... There many ways I can go with this stuff. But rem i didn't bake any shadows so they do get a little bright.
  20. switching code from one language to another don't take years or even months where do you'll get this info? We have language converters for years now only thing you end up is changing some code syntax from the conversion. New engines like unreal is bad for wurm cause of the way the company wants x amount of your profit. Unity how ever is a better engine cause they don't ask for all that and is more indy friendly than unreal. Unity can do every thing unreal can do and if you ever used both engines to experiment with you would know this. Wurm would benefit if it went to unity and it wouldn't take years to do only a few weeks to convert and get it up and running again and no you really wouldn't have to restart the servers over either. Not to mention unity uses c# which is the next object program language. A ton of developers in triple A titles have been switching out of C++ and to C#. C# is just like java and the syntax is similar so wouldn't be a huge adjustment for a team of java developers to switch too. Unity would be the choice to go. Wurm would benefit so much to switch to unity engine simply cause it is a real complete engine that don't need to be built unlike the wurm java engine still has to be built to do some of the most simple task. This topic tho is like beating a dead horse they will never switch so please don't hold your breath hoping. Note unity has so much software and systems pre built that can be bought it isn't funny. here is a clip on a system i bought and have full control over and can use in my own game production and don't have to pay royalties. This is just 1 program they don't have to write but just learn how to use in the unity engine and it only cost me 60 dollars us. this isn't but a tip of the ice burg here, there is so much software available on the asset store. Like I said don't hold your breath but please watch all the videos on unistorm them guys made some very nice software for a game.

  22. I'm not sure how to use it my self I still have copies of all the original dae models which max supports. I'm still learning as well but it be nice to get some info from Saroman on how to use that system. I know they was going to make a wom converter for us and that might be what that is but we didn't get instructions on how to use it. I tinkered with it but never got it to work on my part.

  25. Server updated again high iron fence and gate back in. Hate ide's when they say theres no errors and it compiles and there are glitchs in the code.
