  15. I don't think of books or movies as shows, but maybe that's what he means; it's often hard to tell, isn't it? Also I don't think I compared that to DD, merely mentioned it in my comment. Anyway, it sounds like plenty of people are enjoying this show, and a few not - which seems about the typical split.

  18. I agree it is way random: having high channelling certainly helps to not shatter stuff, but having 'decent' SD and Faith seems to make next to no difference to getting good casts. It's just a grind to get each high cast, after the grind to get the skills/stats. Certainly massively harder than it used to be. Incidentally, I do think it's more of a barrier to market entry these days: you used to be able to do decent work with a 50-70 channelling priest (and the idea of grinding SD was almost unheard of) Now it's all about the 90/50/100 - and still you have to have resources to sac to power repeated casts. Anyway, it's probably as intended and there are pros and cons either way I guess.
  19. I still genuinely don't get how anyone would think my post was trolling, since it is on-topic and contains opinions which many might view as both considered and informed. I guess I'm flattered that my activities matter this much to you though: it's always nice to have touched someone's life But, to me, trolling is more like (for example) making personal attacks against people who don't agree with you or sending unpleasant PMs to folks. Thankfully we are all bigger people than that.
