  1. open profile by right clicking the word "inventory" inside your inventory , then manage / profile then go to the bottom section and turn on "fix cooking affinities"
  2. have you used the profile option to fix it? afaik if its bugged you have to use that.

  4. when you click a key binded to "destroy_item" or "destroy_fence" nothing happens, "destroy_wall"(the one for house walls) does work.
  5. i was testing the diference betwen bronze fo runes and bronze vynora runes on a caravel and it looks by the results i got that both runes are bugged. on a strong wind a 82ql bronze vyn runed caravel is about 4km/h faster(wind on my back) and 0.4km/h faster when going against the wind than one with no runes but in a gale that same caravel is 1.1km/h slower with a vyn rune and about 2.2km/h slower with a fo rune than with no runes. how to reproduce: check the maximum speed a ship with no runes can get(at full sail and trying all angles), then on that same wind use the same ship with the same ql and a bronze fo rune and then with a bronze vynora rune. do it both on a gale and strong wind. Edit: im working on rechecking this and trying it with other ships but that will take some time. EDIT2: my own recheks showed that i did something wrong.
  6. im no expert but if its a computer made for win7 it should be fine running mint or anything similar with xfce or other light desktops, youll want to avoid heavier desktops.

  8. creature cage permissions dont work as they should, deed load/unload permissions override the cage permissions. since many deeds allow non-citizens to unload but not to load it causes a lot of issues gms have to get involved in. # What you expected to happen: i expected the owner or player with permissions on the cage to be allowed to load them in a ship they own or have permissions for, no matter what the deed permissions are. # Steps to reproduce: try to load or unload a cage on a deed without having loading/unloading permissions.

  12. i tried to do it myself a couple times now and the first time i do it i can change the key but when i save and close settings the client freeze for a few seconds and the console fills with errors like this: if i try to change another keybind without restarting the client then i dont get any response clicking on the fields like Schian said.
  13. the bottom of the woodcutting potion page https://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Potion_of_woodcutting has an imbue formula template that seems to be made for mining potions only and says this "Imbue bonus will not exceed the actual vein's QL." we should either change the template to make it work for both or just not use it on the woodcutting potion page.

  15. its not a list, its a window that says "do you want to join path X?" with the options yes or no. like i said which path it is depends on the tile you use. but can you tell me which page had the information you found confusing? was it this on the meditation page? "On certain tiles, there can be a pop-up after finishing meditating that allows you to start a path. There are five paths that a player may follow. They are as follows:" we could word that diferently to make it more clear.
  16. you need to either make or find a path tile for the path you want to join, then you meditate on it until a window pops up asking if you want to join it. the same thing for questions after that. each path has its own requirements for special path tiles.
  17. after 15 skill you need to first decide which path you want by reading what the benefits of each path are, then depending on the path you need to either find or make a special tile for that path and meditate on it to join the path and the get the question for getting to higher path ranks(or levels). how to find or make a path tile is diferent for each path, thats why you need to know what you are looking for. is that somewhere on the wiki or something you saw in chat? if its on the wiki and you tell us where we could make it more clear.
  18. this was posible before using this https://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Guides:Quickswitch_hotkeys having a chatoff.txt file in your config or player folder with something like this inside. and running it with a keybind like : bind F "exec chatoff.txt" but now that they removed those commands and we always have to use profile to turn them on or off i dont think its posible anymore.
  19. the first one i remember is rubies of eventide, and the only thing i really remember is that the easiest mob in it were goblings and they said "its not easy being green" when you fought them.
  20. the only reason i can think of is that it adds something to combat when you have to worry about having enough stamina before you start a fight. but im not even convinced by that myself.
  21. my guess would be that people dont do it because it would have to be so cheap it wouldnt be worth doing for the sellers and because by the time new players know how buy from other players they already have acces to iron.
  22. it is a bug i think i reported it twice but this is the most recent one and what direction you face doesnt matter, as long as you face away from the pile and you are close enough to the tile border.
