  1. While there are many details of this proposed functionality worth discussing, I feel strongly that the mailbox part is a mistake. As others have suggested, this could be a starter town building, or an optional extension of Trader Store traders. The mailbox should be about mail. Having magical auctions from your mud hut hovel out in the country further pushes the Wurm world simulation context in the fidget-spinner toy direction, rather than pushing it the right way, towards a more believable alternate world simulation that is attractive to inhabit. People who never leave their deed for whatever reason don’t need a vast Middle Ages inspired world simulation sandbox game to do what they like doing. Making changes to the nature of the sandbox’s reality to cater to them turns Wurm away from what sets it apart, and into something nobody really will want to play.
  2. Rolf says there that the servers would be merged soon if the Steam release was a failure. If it wasn’t a failure, it would happen sometime in the future, when a disparity in level of development and related things would have little or no impact on new player’s experience of Wurm or existing players experience of Wurm. The timetable for that would be strictly based on there being so little difference between clusters that it wouldn’t really affect things. The difference in market pricing and development levels between clusters as they are now would have been covered under that guideline. Rolf, at least at the time this was posted, would not merge clusters now.
  3. Status Effects Display Option : Open as List: The borderless window where icons represent current affinities and effects is very tedious when there are more than a few items, and there usually are. It's especially tedious if you need to bite some affinity food to put the appropriate affinities back up to support your next course of action. It would be easier to deal with these things if there was an option on the icons, available from right-click, for Open as List. A standard window could pop down over the icons, listing the status effects and their durations, and be closed when no longer needed, returning to just the collection of icons we usually see.
  4. Twice in the last week, I had the experience of purchasing services from these guys, though Saturnfive. Not only were they fast, professional, and even generous, the services were all at higher quality than requested spec, and the cost lower than expected. Won't hesitate to call on them again first. Thank you guys!
