Drama is part of the player made content in a sandbox game such as this without it the game would become very dull and boring. I've played this game and lurked these forums since 06, nothing has changed so get use to it and go raise hell.

All resources and skills there capped at 20, anybody could be free to come and go. Socially, you don't really lose on what we have now, and the slum shanty town problem is lessened. But the biggest gain I see is a more positive introduction into Wurm for a lot of players, who seem to be utterly lost at the Howl, and end up rage quitting at their lack of options. Making a new server, premium only or not, does nothing for the future of Wurm as a whole, without first addressing the main problem of why it's being suggested in the first place. I agree with this because the roads change daily and signs are added everyday...plus all the random CRAP that has been there for years and decaying. Untouched terrain is the best...or places that everything has decayed away which it would quickly at QL20

Everyone should get to experience the excitement of starting on a brand new map..There is nothing like it and has led me to start over on this game three times (beta, gold 1, gold 2) and all 3 times I've conquered the wilderness with no maps or directions and it's the most fun I've ever had. I just recently tried to come back to Wurm and it's just not fun..every where I walk the land has been developed or trashed ... + the fact that Rolf has never recreated the experience of the beta map...There was something about the geography on that map that has never been matched.

Each kingdom has a king now. The king can give away various offices, one of these offices has a fighting bonus. The king also has one. So there's 6 people around who have a fighting bonus, afaik the king gets 2 CR, which is the equivalent to 10 fs and these offices get 1 CR which is 5 fs. I have to say, it's not impossible to catch up. My new account is about 7-8 months old and I can engage in PvP, of course, I am not the best PvPer - like in any other game who played longest has the best skills, but I can take part in it.

Some say guard towers will build themselves in his presence....others say Fo Vynora and Magnoran have come to their knees in his presence...to others hes just eddy

PVP has never been the same after Rolf issued his "fighting fix" a few years ago. It's not even worth trying to catch up, I've done it twice and theres no way am I doing it a third time. Home freedom care-bear server for me.

That was true at one time.... But you have to move on at some point, and if I played Wurm for the last 6 years I've known about it... I think I'd of shot myself by now.

Oh Face of Mankind what a game that was. I played as Brotherhood of Shadows (Bos) and I was a Rank 5 (SG) in closed beta lolol and breifly in their FIRST attempt at a retail release until their publisher dropped them LOL. FOM will be fun for a few months but you will quickly get bored of the random hacking gankers or the lack of any action at all, as the content of the game is based on the "evilness" or "softness" of the faction leaders.. So basically you could be playing with a bunch of pansies to scared to fire any shots and possibly losing their gear orrr you can go out killing everyone you see only to get kicked out of your faction and be left with no money to do anything :-\

Aside from the terrible map(s) it was alright, the last beta map was the best and made the game the most fun!
