Scorpion on edge of spawn town. Help take it down. Fortunately no wounds. Somone else not so lucky.

Walked in a random direction, stopped to admire the view, got clobbered by a large forest giant

Respawned in lake, nearly drowned

On the lake shore while making some clay pots, someone draws a brown bear in.

While helping take it down it switches to me and I have a sliver of health and a red haze when it finally expires.

The 29pt med wound I have will probably kill me, but I lose server connection before I find out.

So interesting you could say so far

Didn't get to much done before crash. I am heading NW. I have heard a few say south is flat and about 30min walk from spawn point to shore and there are some islands down there. And some have been saying north is a little more hilly

This. I'm happily staying behind on Independence, though, so my view might be a little biased. ;D To be fair, server rushes have ALWAYS brought massive lag with them, regardless of game, really (seen it with H&H, and even WoW).

there is no server status for deliverance yet.  it is currently down.

I do not know of a ETA for the issue to be resolved.

You are lucky... you have weapons... mine are stuck on indepence along with all my other gear and i am swimming on deliverence !
