  1. lol Yurik, coming from somebody who jumped ships when things got a bit hot lol
  2. lol what, where is your brain Red you just confirmed the point of the suggestion. yes it's a 2 minute horse ride, that's lets say ~2x the time for walking. In both situations that's a far enough distance with lack of safety to encourage open pvp at hota rather than running out get some pillars and run back in quickly. The fact none of you can comprehend no one is interested in blowing up your deeds but instead introducing a new mechanic to stop "deed covering" the HoTA in future, if and when current HoTA border deeds expire, they won't be able to plant there again. This doesn't hurt the masters of Chaos right now because they're not going to lose these deeds, right?
  3. Only thing I found a bit awful about this situation is the guys faith was insta nuked by the control of another player - surely this should have defaulted the guy to HOTS and kept his faith??? Maybe a Dev can assist with that bit. The whole kicky whatever is fair game chaos server and what have you. Speak to a Dev and see if they can reinstate the faith, there is another HoTS kingdom that I'm sure would love to nab you up in the north seeing as you went for Lib Priest.
  4. the issue I have with multiple AoE abilities is not the fact they can deal X damage to multiple people, you also have the added effect of 30 seconds slowdown on multiple people too which can cause a lot of problems. Added with all the other AoE abilities etc if all weapon artis have the same sort of affect.
  5. Jeeez where are the brain cells. Clearly not in these people. Couldn't be arsed to read the op. Pls go back to whatever fail of a hole you came out of. God dayum Good post, I agree, a system that tries to prevent snow balling. Allows kingdoms to tactically play.
  6. Insert battlepaw novels about MR vs JK for the next four hundred pages and disagree
  7. Bye Wurm

    may life give you lemons
  8. It's not about being right. The topic title is open to opinion - look at it. The reason why devs should value non- chaos/epic specific (and or kingdom favourable) people is because these servers are the ones that LACK player base. Suggestions provided by players who prefer not to PvP may have the potential to add features, change features, balance issues where they would be more comfortable playing on that server. It's all about making the game better for everyone, not just the loud people already there.
  9. Why does the server matter the game play regarding artifacts are the same on both sides. Suggestions from people who are not on the servers are valuable as they are less likely to be biased. Common sense people!
  10. •Prevent people from getting trapped inside magical walls due to teleport lag by blocking casts when a player is on an adjacent tile PLEASE APPLY THIS TO SHAKER ORBS WHEN IN CAVES! NOT AS OFTEN USED AS MAGIC WALLS BUT HAS THE SAME PROBLEM.
  11. Folks arguing about whether artifacts can one hit people or not, personally I think any 1 hit system in a game like this where items are paid via real currency - is bad. Artifacts alone, yes, I don't think they can one hit people, but they do devastating damage to people. The main issue with this game is the amount of ways you can STACK additional damage, accuracy bonuses onto already devastating items with not enough ways to prevent the damage. I'm annoyed everyone keeps thinking the mass damage is always down to a critical hit, I'm quite confident this isn't the case unless artifacts have a high chance of a critical hit chance. It's how people go about using them. If you stack as many bonuses as possible onto a character. Mag bonus, valrei bonuses, Rod of beguiling bonus, faith bonuses, potions, mag crown bonus, artefact enchant damage, whatever else I missed for dmg/cr buffs you will do even more insane damage per hit, Head is the sensitive spot, but the neck is where I deal the most damage which isn't an uncommon place to hit after you manage to target the head (not hard, with a 99ql fantastic weapon). This can then be repeated every sub 10 seconds. If they need to be balanced then it's quite simple. What do the Devs think is the maximum amount of damage that can be done in game should be for a single handed weapon & two handed weapon as base damage How much damage bonus should the game offer to the most devastating weapons in game vs your average player non-buffed? Should they be capped? Keeping in mind of weapon enchants being added on top this (~33% extra damage) will this mean you'll 1 hit newbies by experienced players will be fine?) How difficult should it be to deal that much damage to your general player base (keeping in mind only one artefact has it's own skill) - Probably difficult to manage due to how the system for Combat Rating works. How often should you be able to have the chance to deal that damage? Keeping in mind of difficulty and potential damage output. Artifacts have penalties (charges per use) - how should the artifacts main use be penalised? Again, keeping in mind one artefact has it's own skill, so skilling warhammer skill in pve could be difficult if it's charge per swing basis - could apply penalty to pvp only. Crown could use a bonus, I'm not sure what sort of damage reduction is has but should be at least on par with a steel great helm with the added ability to give CR bonus to it's surroundings. I think you're absolutely crazy for suggesting even more DAMAGE BUFF, especially as an AOE - the game needs LESS of these and more things to balance this silly snowball system. Scale and crown issues I see as bugs, this should be addressed yes. If the Devs decide to look into the mechanics of the orb of doom, can you please confirm before changing the mechanics on how it CURRENTLY works. Unless certain people have had inside intel on how it works. Wiki suggests: Activation (use) starts a 20 second countdown, at the end of which a 50 damage infected wound is dealt to all enemies within a radius of 5 (?) tiles. There's a 10% chance it backfires immediately and kills everyone including the user and allies nearby. Has a 1 hour cooldown between uses. I'm certain this is accurate since the last changes to artifacts. Does the artefact have a hidden 'high chances of backfire under X circumstance"? Relating to how powerful artefact are is how the game has may too many BUFFS and way to little COUNTER BUFFS. Please provide appropriate counter buffs to the large amount of buffs we have in game, or tweak the system so players can't be stacked super humans. The game is currentlyu too much about snowballing your opponent.
  12. I haven't read many posts due to being at work but I think periodic resets won't be great. Charging them are a pain already. There's varied things wrong IMO. The weapons deal MASS damage. They got a damage buff then a little while after you made them fantastic (I think for an aesthetic point of view) but in process gave them another damage buff they didn't need. These weapons are all ONE HANDED bar the sword of mag which deal crazy damage being one hit and two hit is a silly feature when the swing timers are under 10 seconds. They don't have exceptionally low hit chances due to how CR works and you can have 100% chance to aim for the head with very little skill. These weapons are affected by various different buffs such as mag bonus (25% extra damage) and I figure valrei item bonuses which can add an easy 10-20% extra damage depending on circumstances - just two examples. If you're hit in the neck you take extreme additional damage too. These weapons can be used with no punishment as their "swings" do not reduce the power, they can live their whole 3 months with their primary use with no penalty. To reduce the penalty you have to right click it and select use which gives you some favour which is the less beneficial use out of said items. Orb of doom from when we used it in JK was fine, a member in MR made claims they tested it hundreds of times and it backfired every time. Due to the reputation of that player I believed it to be false. Can the deva give clarification on its use, I hope it's not changed to give full advantage to the user because it is extremely powerful. (Feels fine to me) Other artifacts seem to be fine to me, weapons could do with a different benefit other than extreme damage IMO but whatever. Rolf - there are lots of topics in the suggestion boards which spanned many pages about balance on these. They ended being locked due to bickering but there's a lot of valid points if you care to dig. They may be mixed in with "shield of the gone" topics.
  13. Battlepaw doesn't have the brain capacity to understand the points being put forward. I dont care if this change even happens (again, it can be made then let time clear up the mess). He is just doing hes usual fight JK off with hordes of waffle. I literally glance his posts now and when I see "JK" written in every paragraph I abort. Don't even know why people bother. Good idea, too late to implement AND fix due to angry hard working citizens. Change can be made so if and when deed disbands it can not be redounded there.
  14. He joined a kingdom where people don't dedicate all their spare time to the game, and realised he was wasting his time playing it. Yeah, all the better for him.
  15. lol good post, it's just like that one time. one time? you do make a good point with one of your other posts - code can be changed to prevent future 'securing' and we can just let the players clean up the devs bad implementation over time.
  16. Devs should post full info on the god *now* so we can get right on BALANCING the damn thing. Cause you know, it already looks p. Op. But hey I'm sure balancing may happen after somebody has spent months grinding the faith..
  17. but yes, probably too late for this idea to be implemented but would support it otherwise, unless hota was moved to a neautral location to prevent this happening again. I mean we can use the argument that HoTA was placed before ebounaura was founded so it was founded in a unfair location. lol does this ring any bells.
  18. ohhh when the shoe is on the other foot, but before your time I guess
  19. if it's possible to become this priest on freedom - does this mean BL priest are now allowed to be on freedom? This priest has BL spells
  20. Devs and the player base don't understand balance and because of this, it is a step in the wrong direction. Lol
  21. lol so much for random spell list, more like wait for a god then we'll have 20 days to think and create new spells and they still didn't manage to do that in time
  22. ITT: MR accuse of using bugs to plant a deed like glorified holy people when they used a bug to get a heavily fortified village in the heart of JK lands to tower influence bugs and converting villages. MR have no morals, they will do what they can to win, defame people who leave their kingdom, attempt methods of fooling devs to get their enemies banned. Make any attempt to spy and steal as much as they can get whilw within their enemy kingdom while boasting about it on their way out but i guess its the child mentality of some of them. The devs do not know balance in this sort of game, with no system to easily remove a deed without having to spend days to force people out (remove their whole deed). The whole snow ball effect general player mentality has - join the most successful kingdom will only get better (I liked neos idea of capped kingdoms added with the cap increases with the more kingdoms on the server - should have been added from GO)
  23. Name of the account is worth 100e alone
  24. a lot of these towers were good for challenge - deeds were only supposed to last a month so you didn't want a fortress, these additional towers made it manageable to have additional security on less effective strong holds. If you want to reset chaos map, make it impossible to build a 300 steep dirt wall (and stack slopes on slopes) then these additional tower types are PERFECT. I assume the devs here haven't spent 8 hours raiding a village without these hindering you. That's a small raid. These items are good for a faster play style.
  25. A lot of these were already horrible. I thought they were to be tested on challenge and then suggested to put them on live servers before the go ahead. I expected them to go live as its what always happens but I had a glimmer of hope it may not. Woops
