The proverbial "landing you in the middle of nowhere" is the best thing about this game. Every player has a very unique story, and it is far from scripted. Sure in WoW you can meet people at the quest giver, find a jurk or meet a good friend in a random instance, it all feels forced. But where are you going to get the lost in the storm and just planting your self, then making something out of the area. Meet villages around you, trade resources to keep each other going. Make sure the spiders are clear so you can get that cart down the road to do that copper trade you've been waiting for, all self motivated. I just wish the lag would stop...

You know its funny, I am having to do stuff that reminds me of the late 90s when UO would lag out. While I respect the position the company is taking, its not the servers, and I can appreciate that there is a lack of certain control. Il believe that the company should take ownership over the issue and give the effected user-base some sort of idea. Maybe Wurm is still in discovery mode, or lack technical or time resources? Whatever the case, an update would be nice.
