Why not have like some type of steel contrainer to make metal liquid form and then pour it into a forming ingot to make iron bars thier is of course the process that you will spill over and loss some work or make scrap metal. However this would be cool. Also this would in take a cruciable thus needing to hold the liquied metal. This would have to lead or graphite or something.
  2. NOw if we were to do this then someone should have to watch it or something. Lighthouse keepers coul dbe thier titles or something but it would be an awesome idea for it. Don't just give an auto light system without someone being able to go up in it and watch it to make sure that it doesn't go out.
  3. I agree with most why stop with just wines? Wurm seems to be mostly of working man or women then why not have the working man/women's drinks and other beverages. I mean beer was used in acient egypt as a form of payments and actualy was loaded with nutrients and was healthy. +1
  4. Oh yeah Sun Tzu had a mechanical cross bow that fired faster than normal ones it had a magizine fed from the top and it fired like 15 bolts per minute. Yeah Things could go for the differeince in a PVP world with these different devices.
  5. What about Crossbows? They were used way back in the time of Vlad the IMpaler which I believe had a hairtrigger which caused it to be launched when not wanting to be launched. However when building it would of course use a bow string and prob use abit more than just one maybe twoo or three. As for the stock hmmm what about having it made from a log or a shaft with planks attached and then filed or carved down.Also incorperate the idea of the fishing line method already in game like with a snap the lines break but only have the crossbow back fire and cause some damage to the player not much but a light wound or hole.ASwell with my flammable idea have it fire flaming crossbow bolts or something?
  6. Yeah but hmmm the whole wurm week thing to make another does appeal to well what about you can only make one per wurm day? Also what about giving it a high chance of failure? Then no body will spam it?
  7. Seems like an excellent idea. For the decay rate though it seems as though it would have a slow decay rate if it is water. However hmmm maybe by rubbing olive oil on it it could be possiable to waterproof it no?
  8. Seems legit If a barral explodes on impact and someone is unlucky enough to be near it the splash of the flames would probbably burn that person pretty badly. If they are in a pallisade and or a wooden fort then if some fire got on the wooden structure it would burn it as well as long with the cattle and or fields. Also lets throw aanother gear into the system what if you have a chance of loading or lighting the barral and when you light it that fire spreads to quickly into the barrral that would cause it to premature explosion dousing you head to toe in burns and or the catapult. Cause thiers always gotta be some chances.
  9. Sounds cool hmm what about barrals could be used as the flammable rounds? Fill a barral full of tar an some oil of sorts stuck a cotten rag in it and then launch it and when on impact it splashes the fire in all directions but of course thier is the equal possiable ablity of chance that it would put the fire out when it sailed through the air. Maybe could soak the rag in oil or tar to give it that extra boost of keeping lit?
  10. What about Flammable rounds for the catapults? Like these only for those PVP servers. I guess it ould be made by like dipping the lump or shards in tar and or oil wouldn't that work? Be more effective on pallisade and wooden forts more than stone fortresses. Just shooting an idea right now.
  11. Hmmm for the idea that if you retreat into your home and lock the door. However in most televised movies and shows that happened to involved zombies wouldn't it be logical that if a huge amount of zombie lets say 15-20 zombies gathered pushing and smacking the door would possiably cause it to be damaged heavyly by this? I do like the idea that they are stronger at night than in the day. At night it seems though your basicaly going to be out of luck once they sniff you out in your home. Also what if they went after noise and light sources like if someone is ming in an open mine then that would cause some zombies to come after them in the mine. Or say someone is walking through the forest with his/her lantern on the would possiably attract them. I however find the idea of planting corpses so that the case they turn into zombies would attack the nearest player or settlement quite intreguing I mean in the kingdom vs kingdom scenerio they could use catapults to sling corpses over the pallisades. Then thier is the possiablity the corpses turn and become zombies and begin to attack the people unless they burn the bodies and or damage the head extensively. Also on the idea of the viruse or bacteria or whatever you want to call it being transferable it is a possiable realistic fun attachment. I mean of course if you don't want it to be lets say the zombie bite are contaminating and cause to quickly to get worser and worser unles properly treated and fixed. (I.E. healing covers and speacil ingrediants and all that.) However for the spawning i don't know how to approch that. They should be able to spawn in most places like marshes and other places. However why not make them different like horses (Aye I know they are still just players who are dead.) However lets say if thier on a steppe then they are i don't know slightly decomposed more than the other? Liek if thier in a cave then they are not very decomposed at all and if thier under water then they are waterlogged and heavier and move slower? However hit slightly harder than the rest. I also believe that if they are hit by ranged weapons they should be like the target witht eh arrows stuck in them. Well i have more ideas to come so forgive me if thier are not any good ideas in my post. I am just trying to help with the ideas for wurm.
