2. Well i don't know how i can access the folders in the graphics.jar since it seems to be a single file

Well if there is no easier way i have to try this. Have 2 questions : 1. to copy and rename the graphics.jar is to secure it in case i want things back ? 2. I don't find the texture/terrain folder and the fall-and-winter-folder in my WU file, can you give me a path ?

Is it possible in the single-player- WU, to make settings that you have your favorite season all the time ? In my case winter.

I actually search for a new place to live and i love the sound of wind and birds and i don't love that much the sound of water (bath tub) and goose(nerve killers). But the wind sound is most important for me. Now i found when moving away from water, bath tub and nervekillers stop and in the forest the birds start. I think i remember that there is a sound background with a stronger wind, my question is: do i get the wind-background with higher height, seen from waterlevel ? The strong-wind and bird- soundscenario would be the very best for me, what sort of area do i have to find to have this ?

Many Thanks ! I'm pretty confused when it comes to IP because they seem to change at times..or maybe not..i heared that. My 2nd computer is located here in Germany but Steam says it is in Ireland..well. I want to say, can you tell me pls, where i can see the right IP on my 2nd PC ? Edit: found it out, typing "cmd" in the start-menu, which brings up the little DOS-window and there typing "ipconfig" shows up a text, and the number in the line which starts with "IPv4-adress" is the actual IP.(For others with the same problem) My solo world is running now on both PC, awesome !

Have updated java on both pc and tried to deliver the file "adventure" in the "wurmServerLauncher"-file via dropbox. This worked from PC to my notebook but not vice versa, no clue why. Has someone more success with this, and how ?

1 day later. Well it does not work. I could deliver the savegame to my computer at home, but not back to my notebook at work. I updated my java on my notebook but this did not help. The server window comes up and when i start the server, both windows(the DOS and the server-window) disappear and that was it. Can someone give me a hint how to deliver savegames ? I understand that in steam no one has a clue and all say different things but don't i have even here a chance ?

Yes i did and i got the game running again. Important is to delete all files, because the Steam option to delete the game("delete local content") does not delete everything. Second - for the problem to deliver my savegame to the other computer - its enough to save the file "adventure" in the "wurmServerLauncher"-file. Naturally that only works when you play adventure, if you play creative, then save "creative"-file in the dropbox or the mem-stick. Then you can deliver your savegames to another pc. No need to thanks, this was a free service, peeps.

I want to play on my own server, so i click "manage server" and then the black DOS-window opens and usually the white server-window opens also, where i can press the green button then, "start server", but not this time. Only the black DOS-window came up. Have to say that i took a savegame from home to this computer, via dropbox. For that i copied the complete "WurmServerLauncher"-file. Not sure if it has to do something with this problem.

As in topic said, i'm nonprem actually, for money reasons but if you offer work, where a higher skill is not needed it wouldn't matter. Can visit any server, 1000 actions = 1 silver.

If you are going for logics, its clearly just art, nothing else, because you see a woman as front person with a hammer in the hand and thats just art also, nothing else. There is a certain person, he's very often online, but Rolf & friends don't like him to much, and that was like that when they started with the game, so they called it "Wurm online". He's german and so they used the german word for "worm", so he knows whom they mean.

Devs are not paid for easy, but for good work. When you have the chimney inside the room you have to deal with it, disturbing your plans to arrange the interieur.

When you build a forge in the groundfloor, you have the chimney in the room above, which doesn't look nice. Wouldn't it be good to have 2 models for oven and forge ? One would be the normal model we have actually, since forges are not always placed in houses or workshops, that have a floor above for living and the second model would be like this: http://www.thisoldhouse.com/toh/article/0,,20164138,00.html the forge and the chimney is leading up along the housewall, so no big change for the in-house-model, just the chimney to move "behind" the forge/oven, so it goes up outside the house, not inside into the livingroom above.

Season override option +1. Someone from staff-guys, please tell us, is such a thing possible at all ? Would be amazing. To make it a bit more realistic, it could be designed not like ON and OFF, but with a delay of 1 rl day. So when i have summer and want to switch to winterskin, it would take 24 hours. This way i couldn't exploit the feature.

I Love Winter also, someone made a suggestion long ago to provide a winter-skin, if the gamemakers hate winter so much. Long ago the season lasted very long and i enjoyed them so much, it was in reality, you loved the new season starting and when it ended you were happy also, cause you were a bit fed up of it and you looked happily forward to the new season. As it is now you don't have an inner participation anymore, and thats the worst. On, off, white, green, yellow and white again. Like a disco or a traffic sign. It's flat.

There should be a alert system warning mayors when new ppl join and have access to containers at once. this would avoid such things, and with one click a mayor could deactive that system after the player joined and no alert went off or the mayor trusts him. since the security rules and permission rules are pretty much and sometimes complicated, its easy to oversee things(obviously) and - even when here is the typical sort of naive people, that blame the owners of the village - lose very precious things.
