Desert tiles are too naked needs cactusi

Can we please get some cactusi to grow on desert tiles?

 

Could let us harvest their spikes and use them as arrow heads to make hunting arrows and could make the cactus have a difficulty of 45 or 50 so they become the sandstone equivalent for woodcutting grind.

I like it but I don't want to die from cactus damage while auto driving on desert.

Yes yes and yes to cactus. They shouldn't take over the same way trees do, though. I wouldn't want deserts to just become cacti "forests". Not sure how that could be achieved, exactly. 

 

I like the idea of spines as arrowheads. Perhaps they could be un-impable, easily damaged arrows themselves? Something you could harvest in a pinch if you run out of arrows, but not so useful that arrows become pointless.

Cool idea. But the cacti should not grow on the beach. At least I don't know any beach where cacti grow great.

there are some that grow on big enough beaches, just make them spawn only if a water tile is x far away...
