Dyed Stone Walls - please only dye the stone (not the border)

When you dye a stone building wall structure, it dyes the brown border as well as the stone.

 

Due to colour contrast and general aesthetics this looks bluddy awful.

 

I think It would be a remarkable improvement If the Dye only dyed the stone texture, not the wooden top border.

You can put up a vote, but this is a long known issue that affects all painted objects.  We all want the objects to be masked so only certain parts are painted a color, and they are working on it.  But it is one of the long term projects that we will see soon.  Expect it as a major update, when parts of ships can be painted different colors too.

I think they said in the Q/A they're working on masks for dyed stuff to improve the looks.

They had this on the list for quite some time now.

 

The big spring update they mentioned is supposed to bring a rather big graphics update to the game.

 

Afaik some of the stuff that is needed for this will be in there.

No thank you, I for one like it. As for dying Stone Walls and not the brown border itself, I would say sure why not, personally I don't Dye walls, but I can see why that looks strange it Dyes the border.
