Today marks 16 years since the fateful day I first entered Wurm. I am not the oldest player here, but, I have enjoyed every day I have been able to play Wurm. The community here is one of, if not, the best in all of the MMO space. Because of that, I wanted to give back. And what better way to do that giveaway free money? Of course, I'm not going to make it easy, much like my first years spent in Wurm, it was a challenge. So I have devised a treasure hunt. In total, there is 16s scattered across the server in small chests made by me. Inside is a note saying it is my treasure and to post where you found it. If nobody finds the treasure, I will start releasing hints, but that is entirely up to my discretion. Here is what they look like: Now, Happy Hunting! - Felthanne / Kaufecake, CA UPDATE: On Wednesday morning, I will be releasing hints. And every few days after that, I will be releasing more and more information. Hint 1: Chest 1 - General direction of N by NW from my home upon thee here fragrant lavender dances in a hush, within its branches, a chest conceals your secret plush. Chest 2 - General direction of W from my home where branches weep and leaves sway free, the hidden chest within the willow tree, a secret waits for you to find, beneath the drooping boughs of a timeless kind. Chest 3 - General direction of NW from my home in a lavender bush, where perfume lingers and blooms blush, unravel the riddle to find a chest within nature's crush. Chest 4 - General direction of N from my home where walnuts fall, your quest does start, in a tree so tall, the chest's a work of art. Chest 5 - General direction of N by NE from my home amidst the mountain's towering might, a tree conceals a chest from sight, in riddles steeped in nature's light. Players love community events, Slayings, Impalongs, Enki's Derby race was a hoot. I was thinking yesterday about my youth while sailing and remembered the Booze Cruises we had. So I though would it be possible to have one in game? Now this is just an idea, feedback is encouraged. You would need the larger ships Caravel or Knarr, to hold the max amount of people, if more interest is shown you could have more than one ship. Booze, lots and lots of alcohol! The ship would be sailed by the host/s around the server, stopping at deeds that could host some kind of game. The Melody Impalong had a bunch of fun games we could use. If the GM's wanted to get involved maybe they could spawn a Sea Monster to slay along the way. The more you drink the more fun (harder) the games might end up being. You could have trivia or raffles along the way to keep the players engaged during the sailing part. You could have discord server going so people could get into voice chat and chat/sing/drink in real life too. All of this would require donations for prizes and Mayors to host a game at their deed. Like I said just something that popped into my head yesterday and would love to hear from you guys if you think this could even work. ~Indigoe

Good evening everyone! I am Kaufecake from Cadence, those from SFI probably recognize me as Felthanne. I'm here to announce that I will be hosting a session of Deal or No Deal on August 27th at 10 pm EST August 26th at 0600 EST the Cadence Derby and Impalong! I will be hosting and streaming the event on my YouTube channel; link will be posted in the next post. Before we get into it, I would like to thank @mrwicksterfor allowing myself to host this at his event. If you have ever seen DoND at an Impalong on either cluster, just know that this will similar, originally DoND was done by @Gumboand I'd like to pay respect to him for his contributions to the game. OFFICIAL GAME RULES - The game will consist of 16 small chests placed on shelves within a fenced off 3x3 area. Inside each locked small chest will be a containing a letter indicating how much cash the case is worth, ranging from 1 iron up to 20 silver. - After the announcement of a new round, a contestant will be chosen by random. Folks will be required to queue up outside the Contestant Search sign at the Derby. I will collect names, add them to name wheel and spin it and that will determine the next contestant of Deal or No Deal. - The contestant will be required to "claim" one of the cases to use as their starter case. After this the contestant will be asked to remove a specific number of the remaining cases in this order (5,4,3,1,1). An offer of cash will be made to the player (by the Banker) after completing each round of case elimination. The player can either take the cash amount offered by the banker or continue eliminating more cases in an effort to increase the amount of the offer made by the Banker. - If a player makes it down to the final two cases, the player will have the choice of keeping their original "claimed" case or trading for the final case not eliminated. The chosen case will then be opened to reveal the contestants prize. - Here are the monetary values used in each game - 20s, 15s, 10s, 7.5s, 5s, 4s, 3s, 2s, 1s, 75c, 50c, 25c, 10c, 5c, 1c, 1i -------------------------------------------------------------- Other rules and such that need to be stated: -A person may only play once per season, if you had a chance to play this season, please allow others the same opportunity. -Seeing as the bank has a limited reserve, the games will continue until the bank has less than 20s in it's coffers. -Sometimes mistakes can be made. There's a lot of organizing on my side when the game is on, so please bear with me if I screw up. I'll do my best to make it right. -Kaufecake reserves the right to refuse play to any player he feels, at any time. -All money donated to the game will be handed out as prizes, all games of Deal or No Deal will be conducted live on YouTube. -A list of any donors will be collected and placed up after the completion. -Donors are permitted to put their name in as contestants, but all name selection will be randomized among interested parties.
