  1. The AI title requirement would be a temporary solution and based on how things are working out, they can decide whether to open a seperate subforum for it or not.
  2. They are starting to post more and more AI generated suggestions on the regular suggestions forum and as AI is becoming more popular, it is clearly going to become more frequent and not less. The few you are speaking of are becoming the majority of topics in the suggestions forum already, because of how easily spammable they are. You could also just change the name of the suggestions and ideas to AI generated suggestions and ideas at this rate, in order to avoid burdening the moderators with extra work. The moderators having to distinguish each AI topic and moving them to the AI generated subforums exists in a reality where nobody is posting where they are supposed to post in, and continue to repeatedly post at the wrong subforums. That is not the reality we live in right now, but I am sure it exists out there somewhere.
  3. You ''forgot'' to quote the 2nd part. Yeah, I do want AI generated suggestions to not be allowed on the forums but I also know they are going to be allowed so I wrote the following right under what you quoted. That's also the part that you've been responding to with your comments before you've decided that it is better to focus on the opening statement than the actual suggestion which might actually be found reasonable.
  4. That's the heavy part of my suggestion which is providing AI generated suggestions a seperate subforum but you have been openly against it, as well as the light part of my suggestion which is putting AI on the topic title to let people know it has been AI generated.
  5. This topic is about AI generated suggestions and I think your time is better spent opening topics or posting in topics regarding what you want to talk about which is trolling and spam in general, than trying to derail this topic.
  6. A very helpful part of that filtering could be putting AI on the title, if it is AI generated. I am yet to see an AI generated suggestion that is not a giant pile of garbage.
  7. If posters are required to write AI on the title, then we can at least seperate the trolls and frauds from the genuine AI users. You like using AI and think you are generating good suggestions with it? Wear that with pride by putting AI on your title. If you think people will only read your AI generated suggestion because they will assume it is not AI, then there is clearly a problem. There is a massive difference between correcting your text and having the AI write a whole page for you. I don't know if there is anyone who cares about you using AI for grammar correction, but I don't and I'd expect others to not also. If you think AI generating suggestions is a good thing, don't be ashamed by it. If you have faith in AI generated suggestions, then have faith in AI on the title attracting more attention, not less. If you put AI on your title, you also won't be flooded by comments in your topics about it being generated by AI. More and more AI generated suggestion topics popping out is going to result in more and more comments focused on how it is AI and the poster hasn't stated that anywhere. If the requirement doesn't happen preemptively, then it is going to naturally happen in a way that the poster will be incentivized to write AI in there to avoid comments focusing on it being AI or not instead of the suggestion's content. Even if someone would like their AI generated suggestion to appear to others as a natural suggestion, they will be better off putting AI in there so they'll end up doing it. I just don't know if it is necessary go through all of that when it can be solved now.
  8. You don't even tolerate AI on the title even tho it is an AI produced suggestion. Do people who read the suggestion not have a right to know? I think you are worried the AI spammers will make genuine AI users ignored by the community leading to their suggestions being ignored even if they contain valuable content. However, the reality is that the suggestions we have had so far that were written by AI have all been really bad and lazy suggestions. That means those need to be handled seperately. Sure, there needs to be something to prevent spammers who clearly troll without even trying to hide what and why they are doing it. We still need to know if the suggestion has been produced by AI or a human before reading the long suggestion (which how AI generated suggestions tend to be). If you are reading a long suggestion, often times you are doing it thinking there is a human behind this who put the time and mental effort into it, cared enough about it to write it so detailed. I don't want to give up on reading long and detailed suggestions just because there are a lot of AI generated long suggestions. So, I would like to know which ones are produced by AI on the title, before I have to look at or read anything. Is that really too much to ask?
  9. Someone could have 4 really good suggestions within 1 week while staying silent for a whole year. Should that person not be able to suggest those just because AI spammers exist? It is easy to forget an idea or lose the itch to post it on the forums after 1 week.
  10. Blazecraze I get that AI can be useful but it is not what has been happening so far. There's been another person who's been using AI and didn't seem like a troll (unlike Darnok) but the suggestions still looked like mindless mix and match spam. People just make it write massive wall of text for some quick basic idea they thought about for a split second and let AI dish it out. The last time I've checked, ChatGTP is not playing Wurm Online. Even if it is, it is not the one that is producing these questions. Are you agreeing with my suggestion or disagreeing with it? Do you think AI suggestions shouldn't be required to have AI on the title? Do you think AI suggestions shouldn't have their own subforum but continue to be posted on the suggestions subforum?
  11. You responding to me asking for the second time whether you use AI or not to generate these wall of texts after not responding to it the 1st time even tho you answered to it by quoting it, completely ignoring the AI part.
  12. An AI generated suggestions sub forum would be the woodscraps without the name. It is worse than woodscraps because woodscraps actually has something to offer. If people think AI generated suggestions are amazing and it is the new cool thing, they can then go spend time on that subforum. I don't want AI generated spam to overtake suggestions sub-forum.
  13. The problem is they can keep AI spamming for them while people who actually thought out every detail and write it all down themselves get their suggestions shoved behind the AI suggestion spam.
  14. He is letting the AI generate these so don't even bother reading them. His short suggestions are very likely to be manually written by him but the long wall of texts are all AI generated. He is spamming the forum with his AI generated suggestions by the press of the button while expecting and hoping for people to read all of it and argue about it for days. It is peak trolling.
  15. This suggestion is very simple. I don't think AI generated suggestions should be allowed on the forums. They are always detached from the game itself and the playerbase. It has always been a massive long text with bad ideas. There has been two frequent AI generated suggestion posters and neither of them ever got positive feedback for their AI generated suggestions. If AI generated suggestions are going to be allowed, there should be a seperate sub-forum for them so people who don't even want to see AI generated nonsense from lazy suggestion spammers don't have to ever see them or get manually thought and written suggestions overshadowed by the AI generated suggestion spam. At the very least, the person should have to point out the suggestion is AI generated on the title. For example, they could write AI - New animals on the title letting the reader know that the suggestion is AI generated when they are making a suggestion about new animals. This is a temporary quick solution so I hope the AI generated suggestions are seperated to another sub forum so they don't keep overriding the actual suggestions with their spam.
  16. So you have a basic foundation for an idea and you make the AI to write it for you with all of its details. Then you want the people here to read all of that text when you didn't even bother to write it. Then you want the Developers to spend months to implement it into the game. Then you want the players to accept all of this new crazy feature which the person who suggested hasn't even bothered to write manually spending a few minutes. It is not just the text that is AI generated, it is also the contents. If you had all of the content in your head, you could easily write it in no time. Why don't you also get the AI to read you suggestions too since you make the AI to produce them anyways? Your simple short suggestions are good while your wall of text ideas are always horrible. You are making the AI write horrible long gamebreaking suggestions for you while you are capable of making good suggestions yourself. I don't see the point in that at all. I don't think AI written suggestions should be even allowed in the forums.
  17. Is AI involved in any way or are you writing all of it manually?
  18. I've suggested this many times in the past and it has been years since I've last suggested it, so there it is.
  19. Hell Hounds are dangerous but also very fragile. If you have high accuracy and high damage, you can easily and quickly kill them. If you give them time, they'll kill you. Once you have averagely good fighting skill, weapon skill, body stats and equipment, they are free material. If you are trying to run from them as a naked newbie who just dropped the logs in his inventory at the sight of inevitable death, then use the corners to leave them behind either horizentally or vertically. Even if there is a little bump on the road going up for a bit, that could block their sight and let you go if you go over it with some distance between you and the hell hound. If you turn a corner around a hedge wall let's say, they could also let you go. They won't chase you if they can't see you. I've used this many times, whenever I start fresh again and can't beat them.
  20. I am not reading this before you tell me whether AI is writing these or you actually sit down and come up with these. I won't waste my time reading this wall of text unless someone actually sat down and wrote it themselves.
  21. Lootboxes can be predatory but is it really like that if all skins have an equal chance to drop and almost all of them are pretty good? Usually, lootboxes prey on players by making something very good and having it drop with very low chance. That way, people keep buying lots of lootboxes getting thousands of the same trash they don't need. If we had random boxes for the few skins we have so far, you could easily sell the ones you don't want as long as every skin had the same chance to drop. If unwanted skins had a high chance and desirable ones had a low chance, then it would be predatory and I wouldn't want the item to be added if it was going to be so. That's not what I am asking. Every skin equal chance. Skins categorized to different boxes so less chance to get what you don't want. Boxes expensive so it doesn't ruin the value of the skins since you get them with few attempts. I gave 7k as just an example, it can be much higher than that.
