Posted November 27, 2013 It would be nice if I didn't have to friend everyone I wanted to grant access to a building, gatehouse, or whatever. Just let us activate the writ, right click on the person, and give us an option to grant access. It'd add them to the writ as if they were friended and selected from the list. Another useful feature would be temporary access that only grants passage and not item access sorta like the permission to let villagers or allies in. Just have it another option when the writ is activated and you right click on another person.
Posted November 27, 2013 I think a better option would be to add names to it like you would a mine door.
Posted November 28, 2013 Would this work like a mine door?

Posted November 29, 2013 This is long overdue tbh, I dont own a writ, but its already hectic enough to friend someone I dont know so they can ride in my boat some times. :| (I'm really secure about my stuff.) Add this to ALL manage/writs
Posted November 29, 2013 I hadn't considered the simple option of activating the writ to let this happen. I'm kinda of the opinion that we should just add all methods to add someone to all permission-controlled items - yes include the OPs suggestion, but also add mine-door-style naming of guests too! +1 either way.
