Posted July 21, 2011 Ok, the idea of a seperate announcement tab that can be reduced (at your own risk) if not needed could be a good idea, so we will pass this on to the dev team. Meantime, announcements will continue as usual. I dont have any problems with MrB or any other authorised person making announcements for whatever they deem appropriate. We are expected not to over use this facility for non essential notices and so far I am happy this is being observed. So carry on carrying on. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Posted July 22, 2011 I'm not really against the Announcement Tab, but the reason given I am against. I actually like GM/Dev's being personable. Makes things more enjoyable. How is this a hinderance to that? If anything, it helps. I miss a lot of MrB's shinnanigans due to the scrolling messages and imping/digging spam, along with the important ones This would make them easier to notice because of the flashing red tab, and easier to find if you were interested. +1, it's wrong that system level notifications get mixed in with action spam.
