  1. New guard towers: Kirza 618 - 1395, 1835 Laflarfagain 418 - 1494, 1839 Remove disbanded deed: Tauheim
  2. An extra +1 to an auction house via mailbox.
  3. Welp, I went to try again and this time the game updated and launch just fine. 🤷‍♂️
  4. Hello, Since the update on the 13th, trying to launch from Steam gives this error. I have already verified files, and there's been no changes to my local network settings. Anyone else seeing this?
  5. Thanks for the suggestions; turns out this was a case of user impatience. Though the clients resized when I changed display options, I still hadn't closed them completely. A restart was needed to let me move and resize the windows.
  6. Hello Wurmians, I recently created my first alt for priesthood and have been struggling with the multi clienting a bit. I'd appreciate any advice on this. I can switch between clients using my second monitor's taskbar, but ideally they'd be windowed on both monitors. However, the different display options don't seem to help me at all. I'm unable to move or resize when Windowed Resizable or any others.
  7. Just in time for Valentine's day! These thin leather reins, headstall and metal bit should be put on the head of a creature to direct it. This is a supreme example of the item, with fine details and slick design. Starting bid: 6 s Increment (minimum): 20 c Reserve: No Buyout: 12 s Sniper Protection: 30 minutes Private Bids: Accepted
  8. This seems like a balancing issue with the current breeding system that could be addressed. I don't know if it's a good argument for excluding more creature types from the system, though.
  9. Seemingly any tamable creature should also be able to be bred, and possibly with the species' own set of characteristics. Most importantly, crocodiles. If you wonder why crocodiles, it's because my significant other wants to breed them on a crocodile farm. It'd be fun, and it'd make her happy.
  10. This happens with Wurm and every other game I have. I have internet connection, and I've made exceptions for my firewall. I've even gone as far as to temporarily turn off my firewall, but even then wurm nor any other game will log in to servers. Anybody know what's going on with my poor computer?
  11. I apologize for my more direct comment before, you have a valid response with regional environments. It's agreeable that some tiles shouldn't have leaves such as the steppes and tundra, as well as the paved tiles as I have mentioned. I still stand by my point that the current population of leaves per tile shouldn't be an issue. Only the tile that they populate. Trees, grass, dirt, packed dirt, rooftops... these all make sense and create a seasonal feel to the game. Lots of mmo's nowadays have seasonal content implemented.
  12. Are you more than 1 year old? If you've ever gone through an autumn, you'll remember that leaves are everywhere. I reference a post I made earlier, leaving paved tiles "unleaf'd" (ie roads, inside houses, etc.) would solve most of the "I don't want leaves here" problem. My 2 cents, I like the change of season scenery +1 to devs
  13. The leaves are nothing more than a nice touch for the real life autumn. +1 to the devs for implementing this, as I imagine there may now be other textiles for other real life seasons. It gives a nice change of pace and a sentimental feeling to the game. I do agree that there are too many leaves. How about limiting the leaves to tree, grass, and other natural tiles. Paved tiles should be left leaf-free, for example: inside buildings that have paved flooring.
  14. I'm not saying this is a bad idea, on the contrary, I like it. My point is that it's cosmetology when there are still needs to fix on the gameplay level. Plenty of my friends also don't like Wurm, but it's not because of the graphics, it's because they get bored. I believe it takes a certain kind of individual to enjoy wurm, I'm one of them, as I assume you are. Don't believe that Wurm's look has much to do with people enjoying the game. I'm more concerned with the loyal, enthusiastic players getting a whole and complete game. Thus, less concentration on tiles and more on game and character content.
  15. -1 -2 -3 Buying a deed form should remain 10s, without doubt. A deed is a privilege to those who work towards or want it enough. There is much to be said for non-prem and prem players who begin off deed. I did, many of us did. By lowering the cost of initial investment in a deed, you are cheapening the entire land ownership system. Those of us who own a deed have made the commitment to gain it, and maintain it. Deeds should never be cheapened, the off-deed system of buildings is fair enough to anyone who doesn't or can't yet afford an upkeep.
