Posted April 4, 2011 so with this when you're nice to a newb etc they can give you "points" which can be viewed by other people to see how useful you are.e.g. you help a player in CA HELP the player(s) found it useful and gave you 1 point you go to join a deed mayor examines you and sees you have 30 points OR maybe a title for having a certain number of points? i'm saying this because of the attitude people have to new players isnt really that good if rolf wants new players to buy prem i logged on with my alt, liru. everyone started flaming her then i explained who i was then everyone left me alone Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Posted April 4, 2011 You have to ask yourself two questions: First, can it be abused? If so, people WILL abuse it. Second, will the people with an attitude care at all? No, they won't. Posted April 4, 2011 Reputation in Wurm (besides the actual in game feature) is not about points or gratification for being helpful. If you are a nice player, and show it through your actions and how you treat others, you will be regarded as such. People will be more inclined to make help you out when you need things, and more accepting of your presence and opinion. Wurm works much like real life does in this manner. If you crap on people, they'll crap on you. I don't see a need for a point system in this way. There are CA's such as myself to assist new players and moderate chat. People who want to help will help, people who do not will not, and I don't think it's really necessary to be giving out Gold Stars for good behavior.
