Posted February 3, 2016 The cave walls look very unstable. You cannot keep mining here. Occurs inside a mine. This means the tile being mined is adjacent to a cave entrance, and cannot be opened. There's nothing to do about it, except wait for that entrance to collapse. This error message also appears if you are trying to mine a tile that is too close to the surface. Happens when mining close to the top of the rock layer. The ceiling of the newly mined tile would break the rock layer.
