Interesting to see someone post about this issue, I've had the same problem now for about....5-6 years honestly. It's persisted through three different PC builds even. No shared parts etc just....somehow it happens on all three. Same as in the OP i can play for 30 seconds or 3 hours. Sometimes i will crash 10x an hour and give up playing, others its just a few crashes a day. Never ever a day without crash.
I've tried everything under the sun to sort it, as i said before 3 different PCs. Different characters, different locations in game, different setting profiles, using setting profiles of friends who it works fine for, reinstalling java, the python script mentioned here also doesn't work for me. I had reported it long ago in a similar thread and directly to devs back when i spoke with some regularly and by now i'd just sorta learned to accept that its my life. It's been a couple years since anyone suggested something to try to resolve the problem that i hadn't already attempted lol.Just so happened i crashed 8 times today and thought "i wonder how many people this happens to" and here's a thread.

yep mine got removed. All i said was i was ashamed i called keenan a friend and this whole thing disgusted me plus some nice things about Shydow. Can't imagine what rule i broke by saying i'm ashamed of my own trust in that person but hey ho they just don't want people asking questions and will silence anyone who doesn't follow the approved narrative i'm afraid.
Shydow deserved better.

It's finally over! It's done! The mountain is tamed!
Cannot possibly express enough how much of the credit for this project goes to @JakeRiversWho toiled away during multiple periods of my playtime wavering due to RL and losing my mind over constant wurm client crashes. It'd be halfway complete right now without him.
Next up is dirting it over, finishing my deedplanner design for the castle thats going up here and then.....boy oh boy i'm probably gonna need about 60/70,000 marble bricks and mortar. -

Also bonus prize. Many who have visited before will be aware that years ago i cooked up every affinity in the game in a stack of 138 casseroles and left them out for people to nibble at. Since then they've been heavily reduced and i've improved the recipe so i redid the lot!

I reached a point where i was completely happy with all the skills on my character and kinda done with grinding a few years ago now and focused entirely on just fun building projects etc.
So if i ever find cause to post "it's finished" on this thread i can't imagine what else i'd have after....

What are you talking about 1/5, 1/25, 1/10,000. That's a perfectly reasonable way for those chances to ramp up. see how its a small one, then a bigger one and then a bigger one again. Top tier game development there.

I'm more interested that 10 out of the 12 winners were from SFI, which leads to the concern I posted about fairness between SFI and NFI and the 10+ years head start SFI had. There were MANY people who made and submitted creations just for this contest, as was encouraged in the rules, yet it seems majority of the winners were existing / repurposed structures.
Gratz to those that did win! I enjoyed looking at all the different ideas and designs that are out there. I know I'm not the only one who has used some of those ideas in personal projects!

it wasn't in any specific rules, she posted it in a reply on the first page after someone asked and i took it as gospel, just seems i shouldn't have. Also unnecessary discontent? you don't get to tell me when i'm allowed to be discontented or not bud. Just felt like expressing disappointment that i didn't decide to go ahead and post a family album of my deed as well.

Love that when queried about this we were told to submit only a couple images. So i figured yknow what my deed is way too big and has too much going on to sum up in a couple images. Perhaps this competition isn't for me i'll just leave it. Then people submitted entire family albums and won anyway >.< Wish i'd noticed that there was a change of heart about the number of images to submit o.o

Hi friends! It's been a long while since i had any update to give you. Didn't play wurm much for a while and then when i was i've just not worked on my deed. Which is obviously a tragedy so lets get back to it!
I spent....a little while getting my AH up to 95 after the new update so the peak is a lil....sheepy:

So with that grind done its back to work time! (in future i've got a pretty neat idea for a tower on that peak deed so the sheep pens will really have to go o.o)
Today i finished this up, new genetics lab for my aggressive animal breeding, got halfway through building it before finding out theres a bug where animals won't eat in caves at the moment so i guess testing 95AH on mega pets will have to wait a lil as i have zeeeeeeeeero room for them outside heh.

Oh god it's been over a year since I posted any updates. I've been back adding bits to the castle project lately, barely played at all most of 2023 really but i'm back a bit more often lately. The windows on the tower are all wrong....i don't even know how i managed that i'll have to knock some out and redo lol.
