  1. Vulcan Retreat and the island have been sold.
  2. These lovely properties can be yours for only the price of a personal trader. All I want is 50 silver, and you get an ocean-front one hundred percent flat peice of property that isn't too far from Freedom Market.
  3. It allows easier gateways for people who want to go to faraway servers. It would be nothing short of magic if did anything like decreasing the size of the world. Sailing is for explorers, travellers, and adventurers, but I'm not playing like I'm Cornealis P. Adventurego. There are many people who like doing that, so they can be the kings of the high seas, I'm just a little peasant madgod farmer that wants to hang out with friends in more than one region at a time. This allows me an ease of access to each one of my deeds, and more deeds for me means more money being pumped into this game, because I actually buy from the official store. I'm just that insane. If someone doesn't like the idea only because it means more people going after the free land, they must keep in mind that it'll happen regardless if there are portals or not.
  4. Also a good backup suggestion for this idea. Even if it took half of the supplies a colossus takes, that wouldn't stop me from making the portals if it means being able to join my friends in other lands.
  5. And that, good sir, was the idea. I want to be able to hang out with friends in Exodus, and friends in Independence. The items don't matter, what matters is me being able to upkeep one of my deeds for a while, maybe build something, feed the animals, etc. and then drop what I'm doing (and everything in my inventory) and do similar things at my deed in the other server. Portals allow this very idea.
  6. Some friends may be in Independence, some may be in Exodus, with portals, I could hang out with both of them at my discretion. And who says portals have to be made out of just rocks? Could be that to provide a conduit to Exodus, you need 50 gold, could be you would need 50 silver ore for a conduit in the portal to Deliverance.
  7. The point of ships travelling would be to bring the ship. And maybe your deed is at the far end of the map, near where your boat would be sailing through. and I didn't say any transfer of items, I was merely talking about the people.
  8. Hypothetical here; I'm making a deed dedicated to horse-breeding and farming in Exodus, but I want to keep a deed in Independence for my invisible dragon. It's not logical for me to sail to Exodus two days out of each real life week to take care of my horses and farm my farms with farm farm farm farm... Anyways, It just doesn't make any sense to sail that far, but I would LOVE to have a deed in Exodus, Deliverance, Epic and Independence. Portals would allow me a logical pathway to these servers without having to sail to every freakin' one of them.
  9. Why should it cost money for any other server if it doesn't for Epic? And why is there no way you would otherwise go for the idea? Allowing the creation of multiple portals to multiple areas only increases the ease in which you can access new servers. For someone like me, who had intended to make a farm in say Deliverance, and keep a deed in Independence, it'd make my work easier to move between each server to upkeep both deeds.
  10. Okay, so I commend you Rolf for coming up with the brilliant idea of craft-able portals to Epic wherever we want them. A step up from that, how about we get the ability to make portals to any other server we want? I'd love to gate off a section of my land, and venture up there, and be presented a choice of which server to go to for a few hours/days. These portals of course would follow the same rules as the Epic portal, only like the Epic portal, we can put them wherever we own land. It'd make travelling to each server so much easier if I had all the portals on my own deed.
  11. Hello there, I'm here today to sell one of you lucky Wurmians an ocean-front, completely 100% flat deed. This deed is just about at water level, and is less than 15 minutes from Freedom Market if you're using a sailboat. The deed I have come here to sell is Vulcan Retreat, located at scenic 22x 31y. The size of Vulcan Retreat is 53 by 33. You can shorten the deed to 33 by 33 and not have any problems, the deed was extended to stop settlers from coming too close to it. It's really just a giant 33 by 33 square of land. The perimeter is 5 and it has 0 guards hired. The village has 10 silver, 20 copper and 56 iron in its coffers. The monthly cost is 3 silver, 49 copper and 80 iron. The upkeep will last approximately 81 days, 16 hours and 35 minutes more. The deed includes a personal trader in her own building, plus three other buildings. One of these buildings has a 49QL Oven with five 50 QL frying pans in it, the oven also contains about ten other much lower quality frying pans. This building also includes a 60QL Food Storage Bin with a bountiful array of food items, the notables being; 790 Cooked Meat 140 Corn 119 Barley 346 Wheat 193 Pumpkins There are also many other items in the FSB, although in far less quantity. The second building contains (2) Dredges, each enchanted with a high level of Wind of Ages, and a low level of Circle of Cunning. There is also plenty of Wemp and Cotton in a Bulk Storage Bin for you. With your purchase of this deed, you also get; 48QL Leather Saddle 50QL Plate armor Set With this deed, you'll also get a free 11x11 "Island" with Vulcan. This mass of land is just a few tiles North of Vulcan Retreat, and was intended to connect with it. Here are some pictures of the land itself, along with the free "island" and a free boat for you to pal around in. http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x242/Secret_Walrus/wurm201111081627_3.jpg This is the Northeast section of Vulcan Retreat, here you get a beautiful view of the mountains, and a beautiful view of the crap in the fields. http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x242/Secret_Walrus/wurm201111081627_2.jpg The Southeast section of Vulcan Retreat. There's also a free Catapult for the buyer, which is in the picture. http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x242/Secret_Walrus/wurm201111081627_1.jpg The Southwest quadrant. Here is a lovely view of a guard tower obstructing another lovely view. http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x242/Secret_Walrus/wurm201111081627-1.jpg Here's the Northwest, that's the building that the Trader is in there. http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x242/Secret_Walrus/wurm201111081643.jpg Here's the free peice of land included in the price of Vulcan Retreat, it's 11x11 and it's token will be removed at a time the buyer indicates to free up the space for building. http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x242/Secret_Walrus/wurm201111081635.jpg And here is the free boat for you and all your friends! (Limit 2) This little piece of ship is 8QL and will be handed over to your name when you buy this deed. Don't want it? Too bad! It's yours forever! The price of Vulcan Retreat, along with it's trader and the free island is 50 Silver. I'm just looking to get rid of this property, and at least get back the money I spent to buy the trader itself. What you're really getting is a trader for standard price, and a large, flat peice of land to go with it. There is a large amount of room for expansion towards the North. You can make your offers here, leaving me a message, or contacting me in-game using either Sheogorath, Haskill, or Jyggalag. Thank you for your time.
  12. I'll not be going on this round of boats, I'm sorry Elwood. You're free to fill my spot with someone else, now.
  13. I'd say let him hammer out the rest of what he needs to hammer out, then do it again when he crashes Freedom1 using Freedom2.
