I used a search but came up with nothing, so how about a new thread? Too small of caught fish is too easy to cheat for just by eating a little of it, so does anyone have any big fish stories with screenshots? What's the biggest fish of any type have you caught?

Good lord, I can't believe I have to point this out with every post. I am on PRISTINE. There is no physical way to ever do this. I would be perfectly happy to hire someone to do this for me if it were possible. I am a new player. These are my first impressions. I am not upset out of "jealousy" or whatever nonsense you think this is just entitlement. This has nothing to do with entitlement, at least for me. I AM upset that the WIKI, the guide to tell us how to play, lays down the info for this amazing item I can get excited for only to find out it's not even in game and the alternative to this feature is utter garbage and far FAR inferior. Gift or not, you do not GIFT players an amazing item that changes game mechanics so drastically. Oh, it's in game for other people, but not for my server. Fix the item or fix the wiki please. This false advertisement thing is kinda ridiculous.

You're right. It's not the end of the world. Oh, speaking of, that "go dig it yourself" snarky comment that I feel is unwarrented, say hello to my plot. It's name is Patience. I'm digging it FLAT by myself. Or when it gets so steep that I have to cry for a 99 miner to help me to 300 on those back slopes where the far dirt piles are. See that spot on the left next to the tall walls? Well, now I get to inconvienience my neighbors because in order to fix that left side for four tiles, I have to dig up an entire highway to reach the dirt so I can lower that rock on my plot that is a full tile away from the highway just so I can lower the rock by by 10 tiles. Not all of us are crying about boats, thanks. I would hire someone if it was possible to lower those four tiles by 10 so I don't have to dig up an entire highway but hey, it's not even physically possible. Edit: Might I also point out that it's highlighted on the wiki? Maybe that's something that needs to change if it's not possible to give servers access to an item that other servers have full reign of. It was this blatant false advertising about an item my server dosen't even have that got me quite upset.

/ignore name is the command, correct? Yes I think that is a fine solution. Slowly but surely, maybe I can ignore that entire channel. I kept trying to right click people's names but since I didn't see any ignore command, I wasn't sure if that was possible ; Thank you.

Okay, I've been playing this game for one week. There has not been a single thing in the global kingdom chat that I've seen that has not just been offensive, rude or jerkish. It seems that by not being localized, people can just troll others to get hackles raised. From politics to abortion to whatever nonsense spews from people's mouths that they think is perfectly okay to talk about, I really don't want to see any of this ever again. I find it slightly amusing that the only time a moderator stepped in was when people were actually talking about the game by raffeling off a refferal. Spam, yes but actually game related. I've found zero use for this global channel whatsoever and there is no way to turn it off. Technically I -can- turn this off, but it also turns off my local server chat. Full of helpful people that can guide a wayward noob in the right direction when they get lost.... constantly. Why are these two combined? This just makes no sense that I have to turn them both off. Is there a plan already for making them one or the other?

I don't understand this either. It drives me bonkers. No, I don't care about whaever horror story you just scared yourself with. This is not conversation! I do not care if it is recent news or whatever, I don't find that kind of stress exciting or fun. At the dinner table, I've encountered more than one person that wants to talk about a shooting. Just... what is wrong with people. Do other people really find this to be a perfectly acceptable dinner topic? My mother in law has very strange social skills. We had to go to a one year old's birthday party this weekend and all she could talk about was the horrible condition her mother was in and how her father died and all this other terribly negative stuff. At a party. Where she wasn't even drunk yet. Go get a therapist or something people... If someone really had that hard a time dealing with that kind of stuff, go find someone who actually wants to hear this ungodly stuff. I have no interest in your emotional baggage of scare me silly stories.

Wonderful! I have some rock that needs re-sculpting on my plot! Just come by the Pristine server and... oh wait. Nevermind. Nerfed or not, it really is quite disheartining to be a new player, read up on the wiki that this wand is the best way to lower small slopes of rock levels then find out my server dosen't even have the capability to have one. I'm reminded of a military addage where they give you improper tools like toothbrushes to clean things when there's perfectly normal tools availible. I feel like I've been given a toothbrush when other servers have acess to tools that make the job far far easier.
