Supreme items not rewarding random skill

Happened twice now. 
Once with a supreme camelia flower

and again with a supreme copper piece. 

Used two different altars on different servers (Xan and Pristine)

No skill rewarded, food/water/nutrition increased to 100%, CCFP unaffected

These are normally very small skill ticks, is it possible to have rng rolled to skill you have quite high or "glitch" into ALIGNMENT which is often at 100?

1 odd mechanic detail about this sacrificing is the check for full weight(especially for resources where only the last bit matters), which shouldn't be an issue for camellia or 1kg copper..(assuming it was metal lump and not a coin, probably wrong)
