Posted November 3, 2015 From Wurmpedia: "LWJGL is the Lightweight Java Game Library, which includes native libaries for OpenGL and is designed to provide hardware-supported 3D graphics and sound to applications written in Java. The Wurm Online client previously offered two different libraries to users, JOGL and LWJGL, but on the 20th October 2010 publicly accessible development began on an LWJGL-only client. A stable version was later released on the 26th April 2011."
Posted November 3, 2015 Wurm is using LWJGL 2 right now, but transfer to LWJGL 3 is possible in a future (in fact there are not too much differences between these two when it comes to API, mostly windowing stuff - LWJGL 2 makes it impossible to open more than one window at once).
