  1. Thanks again for offering advice and support on the matter. I've been having a hard time making time to play after I set up my deed but I managed to get a cart and some barrels for water. Still need to dig out the mine and make a road to the shoreline. I was expecting for a few friends to help me out as this game just screams teamwork but they bailed on me for minecraft.
  2. Thanks for the quick input, I think I am going to go for it as it seems like an interesting challenge and I really like the look of the woods around me.
  3. So I've been having bad luck on the Pristine server finding a good spot to settle, walking up and down the shorelines finding very little. Running out of options I started walking inland and found myself inside a beautiful forest with a relativity flat landscape. Before setting up shop there I wanted a better understanding of what I would need to do and deal with to get some of the basic needs and resources such as clay, tar, and water. There is a mountain nearby like 30 tiles away form me so ore shouldn't be an issue and water about 70-100 tiles away. I was thinking it might be too much work to even be worth the effort and that is why everyone is shoreline. If anything I am just looking for some feedback as I really want to enjoy this game and don't want to do something that will make me more frustrated with it.
  4. I had loads of fun and and overall great time yesterday but today when I logged on my shack was surrounded by deeds which forced me to settle elsewhere. After hours of looking around I found nothing that was suitable for me and four others that wasn't deeded. I was extremely exited to tackle this game with my friends but the pay2win land rush killed it.
