no, I just went to the [pack updates] section on the launcher and unchecked "graphics".

wow thanks yeah i got on now, it wasnt updating it.  I'm sure they will fix it but for now im unchecking it.

i get this from time to time .. no clue what it is, but i fix it by firing up a vpn, downloading the file, then remove the vpn and log in as normal.

Sigh thank you. Unchecking that did the trick. I was freaking out and even tried reinstalling java lol.
