Wurmonline.com not responding

Recommended Posts

Anyone else having issues not being able to reach wurmonline.com? Wurmpedia.com is not responding too, but the forums work fine. Can also see that server status is up and running. Ping just times out.

So, about 4 hours latter and the issue is still there... Every other websites/services or whatever are working fine except for wurmonline.com or wurmpedia...

K, ping for updates.wurmonline.com is working fine, ~40ms, 0% loss,

ping for elevation.wurmonline.com also works fine, so no clue what to look for anymore...

Something missconfigured on the server?

Maybe you have a antivirus with personal firewall which might of been blocking Wurm stuff?

Nah, nothing changed on my PC compared to yesterday.

Got it to work through VPN though... The issue is still there....

Did you check with your ISP if they are blocking specific traffic or something? Your packets get from:

Your modem:  1    <1 ms    <1 ms    <1 ms  Magnus [192.168.11.1]

Your ISP:        2    <1 ms    <1 ms    <1 ms  lan-84-240-28-254.vln.skynet.lt [***.***.***.***] //<--My ip

and then Nowhere.

Considering VPN works and direct line not something is odd.

I'll try contacting my ISP about this issue tomorrow since it's way too late today, see what they say about it, but never had such problems before....

Now I'm having this issue, I had 2 rounds of dc'ing while I was mining on very low graphics. The first round I recovered from, the 2nd I was unable too. I've been unable to log in since, I can't connect to the wurmpedia site or view the server statistics on the main page of the forums (they both say connection timed out). I ran the suggested ping commands and had 0 packet loss so that's not the issue, I ran wurm fine on 2 pc's for aprox 5 hours today, suddenly dc's happen and I can't log in. Has my IP been blocked?

Not by us ... we don't block Wurmpedia by IP.   If you cannot get there, it's something in the network.

And magically everything works again, looks like a roving blackout in the wurm network.

Same is happening to me. I'm unable to launch the game, access wurmonline or wurmpedia. This is third time this has happened in three weeks. Each time it has resolved itself after about 8 hours. No idea what is causing this problem or how to fix it.
