Unloading, multiple floors, and me?

Is there no way to unload a forge onto a second or higher floor?  Wagons can't drive upward, can't be dragged upward?  Is there a trick that anyone has found or have I missed something?  Seems like a huge oversight.

We happened to just do this, apparently you need to line up your wagon with the opening, and then get out of the wagon with the inventory open, go up the ladder, and unload it, works for multiple floors I assume, then you gotta push it around.

I was able to do this a week or so ago. I tried to use this trick again today (spent around 10 minutes moving the wagon around). To no avil this time..Gives a message "Floor is in the way". Not sure if its just gotten harder and more prudent to be precise...or if it was indeed fixed.

the ladder must be a strait line when I did it - could load/unload so long as I was standing over the hole above the wagon - but was a week ago - managed to move a forge from a 4th story to ground level this way as well as some spare beds
