Ability to lower sails

Wanted to say thank you for all the positive feed back on this I know its been suggested before.  However I have been hearing that ships are getting a make over and thought this might be the best time for us to remind the Devs how much we want this.  Again thank you all.

+1   but make it a component to add to ship building a whole new piece this is actual def

a short rope used on ships for fastening things such as the sails


Also these other parts could be incorporated into game


Ok if someone would make it where passengers could move around on boat large boats this would be cool to have for pvp




muster station

noun


a place, especially on a ship, where people should gather if there is an emergency


Also this while im at it




hawser

noun


a heavy cable or rope that is used for tying up or pulling a ship


Able to attach to sail boats or rowing boats for easy transfer would work like horses like Hitch option have 3 or more hawsers in inventory and select option drag or haul and then tie to large boat one at a time till you got a load of 4 small boats attached for transport would work well with selling these kind of small craft

+1  i don't really care if there is any visual, would be nice but first thing is first.

 

30km (to much?:P) is not a good parking speed, lets be honest.

+ and -1.. it's another model to deal with, if that's going to further ................ the performance around big harbor areas... wont it be best to just get some sort of keybind to slow down the speed to solve 1 problem, instead of making another one with this?

One thing to note.. we're missing a continuous walking back keybind :wacko::ph34r:

atm there's [ bind X AUTORUN ] to walk/run forward.. no way to reverse that.. and walk backwards; as unreal as it might be... we are able to slow down by pressing S already, which could be explained by .. dropping/dragging anchor and raising it.. on repeat...

+1 Would this make boats like Corbitas slightly faster when moving against the wind?

Might be an old requests but - yes please. Would be cook if the model would reflect the state but the ability and effect is the more important part.

Now we need to push/pull/turn ships in unfit winds parking at tight harbours - especially hard to properly moor (and navigate sometimes) in small caves.
