Intermittent lag and disconnection issues

Hi Everyone,

 

It appears some players are experiencing more lag and disconnections, this is not affecting all players connected and is not a direct server issue, the servers are running fine.

 

It is most likely a network traffic issue along the route to the servers and should resolve itself shortly. We are keeping a close eye on the situation to see if the issues are periodical or ongoing.

I was getting the lag, then got a disconnect, then it let me back on and acted fine for a few seconds, then it disconnected me and stayed on the load screen and wouldn't load. On Pristine server.

Yeah the problem seems to be the route to Germany. From Austria everything is fine with a ping of 30ms

It's been a bit laggy, on and off, since the servers moved. Not bad all the time, but sometimes it gets up to 5 seconds lag, with 1-2 characters being disconnected and instantly reconnecting. It's not *bad*, but also a bit worrying if it might stay like this due to the new server location.

Yeah, got stuck in a loop where it would log me back in but couldn't do anything then kick me.  Happened 6 times or more so I disconnected and restarted the client which fixed it

I was able to log back in and it's acting fine now. (I'm sitting in some abandoned house cooking food in their oven rather than play with mobs though...don't want to get killed because of this lag. I was running around on a cart looking for more salvage when it lagged majorly bad with two mobs chasing me. Got guards on them luckily.

cant play any more since the update it has downloaded the updates fine and i can load the game up with no problems then  wile it is rendering the terrain in the game itself it disconnects/force closes after about 30 seconds.

any ideas why this is happening?

I play on Serenity if that is any help

Yup lag is crazy now for me since update I'm in uk was fine before 40-60 fps now lucky to get 6. Changed loads of stuff and changed it back and no change

US, east coast..was doing good then a few boat position issues then lag freeze. now cant log in

 

Update... appears to be back after about 15 minutes. If that was a save by the new hosts, very impressive.

Poland here (routing usually through Germany, sometimes Stockholm).

 

The lag is very heavy since 30-60 mins. Even exceeding 10 secs between click and server response. Regular crashes and disconnects.

For some reason, I'm getting a huge spike in ping from Houston to Dallas, which is only a little under 200 miles away from me. I have more ping to Dallas than I do to Germany, which almost seems like a packet loss. Any reason?
