Posted February 22, 2014 That new crafting interface is good for batch crafting. It really helps that you don't need to click those small menus every time. But continuing interface is a bit imperfect. It shows needed materials, but doesn't allow to select them.So I suggest that there will be slots at right side where you can put all needed materials and then just hit "continue" and it will use them in order.Furthermore, stacking. Now you can put either 1 or all stack into crafting slot. I suggest that if you put similar items there they make a stack with order as they were placed. So, you can put 3 items from inventory stack there by one, and they will be used in placement order.Next, improving. When you place item for improving into interface, it shows all tools from skill that needed to improve. So, like I hit "add to improving interface" at sword which is in forge, and it will show sword at left, then buttons "improve" and "repair", and then slots for lump, hammer, pelt, water and whetstone at right. And slot for lumps will support stacking as well. And if there are some lumps like 10ql, 15 ql and 20ql there, it will switch between them when item hit corresponding ql levels. Maybe it's a bit complicated, but will save players a lot of time spent on selecting items and menus.

Posted February 22, 2014 im actually finding the window TOO useful for continuing. I actually got bored and went back to the old way for a bit.
Posted February 22, 2014 . And if there are some lumps like 10ql, 15 ql and 20ql there, it will switch between them when item hit corresponding ql levels. This, is too much and very much unnecesary. It's not supposed to be an automated imping/crafting system, only to get rid of the menus (Which are still there for those that still prefer them). I somehwat agree to the part that you could add the tools there and hit improve, but then again it makes some things pointless. But then again my personal suggest would be to remove the imping part of the crafting window altogether, its not really needed. With bindings its already easy enough to imp. Posted February 22, 2014 -1I think allowing you to put all the different items in at once would make things TOO easy, and automate too much. That and I really don't think there should be lots of slots in it for improving. It is providing you with an easier access to your active, and your passive item, I don't think the crafting UI should be turned into an inventory-toolbelt-craftingwindow frankenstein as you suggest. Posted February 22, 2014 (edited) You say that would be too easy. I don't see any challenge in current crafting system except for navigating same menus over and over again. If there was some minigame or something, then removing it will make crafting easier, yes. But now you choose one item, you choose another item and either it works or fails. No skills, no reflexes, nothing more is needed. You mustn't click colorful flying objects, you mustn't solve puzzles. What you think is hard here? How can this be more easy? What I suggest is only UI change. This will get rid of unnecessary clicks, that's all. That's only my personal opinion. If some hardcore veteran players want to imp as they did for years, that's their respected decision. UPD. If some guy wants to make macro bot, he will make it. If he can code it that it will fill all slots with corresponding items for any recipe, what will stop him for making clicker bot that will use current system same way? I hate those who use bots, I hate those who sell them for profit, but I respect those who make them for their coding skills. There are many people that can automate almost any process in any game. Posted February 22, 2014 +1 to use a stack of items in order, so the second time you hit craft, it doesn't reset to the first ones. And for the improving part, I think that is easier with binds. doesnt this just open a can of worms for macro bots? Do you really think that the lack of the crafting interface, was a problem for macros and bots?
