Posted February 22, 2014 ok i test today [02:34:20] You start to reinforce the cave floor. i made it insite of deed... question is now what is made for? to prevent cave colllapse? mybeto protect floors from noobs? that dont work... everyone can remove reinforced floor insite of deed....do we have settings to set? so preaty useless if everyone can remove em just like that :S
Posted February 22, 2014 They are there to prevent accidental floor minings, reinforced floors can be removed by anyone with mining permissions I believe, but to remove the reinforcement and then start mining down is an obvious act of intent. It's more there as a way to discourage mining down rather than stop it like a reinforced tile would.
Posted February 22, 2014 (edited) need to be made same as cave walls... that only mayor can mine it or make special permission for mining reinforced walls and floors.. edit:or atlast need more actions to mine it away.... normaly players do more actions per once.... before they found out what they do Edited February 22, 2014 by RockyBalboa
Posted February 22, 2014 they are for off deed mines to stop noobs mining the floor and ruining public access mines
Posted February 22, 2014 They also increase movement, and neaten both the floor and ceiling in high detail mode.
Posted February 22, 2014 I like the idea of using them to define paths through the mine. It would be more interesting if they looked like rail tracks perhaps, but I think marking out major routes could make for an interesting look.

Possibly something else to add to the floor once it has been re-enforced?
Posted February 22, 2014 to protect floors from noobs? that dont work... Yes, these do work against noobs, and very well so.Many of us have mines, or tunnels, that are offdeed. This protects you from 2 things, first being noobs wrecking/digging out your floor, and second, protects you from dropshafts being dug into your tunnel without having to reinforce both walls (Saves time)If you have noobs on your deed that have permission to mine, and they're destroying your reinforced floor tiles, the issue is with who you are allowing to join your deed, not with the reinforced tile, rocky. Posted February 22, 2014 jea good thinking.... but still will be nice to have option in deed settings for destroying reinfored wall, floor, cellings... if they get conected atlast with destroy option as is now that will be great....
Posted February 22, 2014 The ability to reinforce mine floors has been long requested. The purpose of them is to prevent newbies and f2p accounts from mining down floors in public mines, not on deed tile mines which are up to the deed mayors to prevent by proper oversight. These reinforcements can be removed with 21 body strength, which is a good compromise since those types of players will have no ability to remove them and then mine floors down ruining them. An excellent addition to the game and one of my next projects is to reinforce the mine floors in a public mine I made next to one of my deeds. Now I can first reinforce floors in the public iron mines I made and then reopen them to the public without the frustration of seeing them ruined time and again by careless players. A very much needed solution to this problem. Well done Devs! =Ayes=
