Posted February 20, 2014 I'm amazed at how integrated my life has become with Wurm - how subtle but powerful it has become part of my daily routine. I've never smoked in my life... but I can only imagine the urges and cravings I've experienced in the last couple of days are somewhat similar to the withdrawal symptoms. Posted February 20, 2014 They posted an update about an hour ago on facebook, not sure why they didn't post here as well. But basically, seems like they are still waiting on the hosting company to complete installation of the servers or at least that is how I read it. Generally takes an hour or two for most hosting companies to set up a server. Since we need 9 servers or so, it probably will take a little time. Since Wurm isn't their only customer. Given that it's still in the hands of the hosting company, Rolf and company can't give a definitive answer. I would guess that once the servers are turned over there will still be a 3-6 hour wait while the game devs make sure everything is working correctly. Sigh. It's frustrating, but at least we are getting a little information. I expect another update in about 4 hours. around 20:00 CET even if it's just to say there still is no eta. If there is no eta in 3 hours I would hazard to say it's going to be another day. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Posted February 20, 2014 It is 4:30 PM there now, so, we will probably hear something soon. I'm sure they are doing everything they can to get the game up and running. I mean, it is unfortunate for us, as we don't get to play our game, however as our 'premium time' is on hold, they are not getting paid for the down time. Posted February 20, 2014 Generally most hosting companies have techs working on servers until 6pm. Rolf and crew typically knock off at around 8pm if they are required to work late.
