The launcher gets it's information  from the logon server.  If that's not running, the data is stale.  All servers are down; no-one is online.

Maybe, just maybe they are in progress of the move and testing for stability etc. So that when they DO bring them up for us, they are confident that the servers are stable.

Glad to see Wurm back up and working well.
