I know that they exist already but do not serve a function. What i propose is to have them cool items down faster if they were made a small container item. And anything inside that cools off 25% faster than the normal rate.

Thoughts?

Don't think that can beat tossing a hot item into a Cauldron in a cold forge, which insta-cools it in easily less than a minute. Perhaps a different function?

Well i was trying to figure something out for them that suits the description of them . Maybe a ultimate combiner for hot items?

Faster item cooling is a possibility, especially if the current "workaround" ever gets patched. Offhand Id lay odds its unintended behavior.

Another possible use Ive seen come up is using pliers as the tool in some kind of disassambly or salvage skill to break down items to the next level of components. Say taking and breaking down a large cart into a wheel axle, some planks, nails, etc. Skill would impact things like complete failure, better part ql, getting a percentage of all the parts used, etc.

Could anyone explain to me the slightest degree of logic that this item, would be a container? Could anyone show me where items would be contained, or inserted within for storage? It'd be nice if they were used for salvaging, for working blacksmithing items, perhaps to do with horseshoes even, but I'm incredibly confused what these would have to do with cooling or being a container...

Pliers, in RL, are not the item used for carrying hot metal items, or tempering. Those are tongs. Edit: And pincers.

That would be awsome, I've allways like salvaging skills in other games, would fit in rather well with Wurm's concept.

I was going by ingame and not real life . Plain and simple on that part.

That actually seems like a pretty good idea would be a smelting pot for other items
