slide bearings

Recommended Posts

We have horse shoes to make our horses faster. How about friction bearings made of copper to make our carts faster?

The mechanic would be pretty much the same as with horse shoes; create, imp up, attach to the cart. The higher the ql of the bearing, the higher the speed bonus. They would take damage over usage time so that at a certain point it would make sense to replace them.

While it's an interesting idea, I think the problem with this would be large carts in pvp running down players on just a horse.

I rather gear up my horses to make carts/wagons faster.

Too many decaying items while riding a cart imo.

You are suggesting Cart customization... and you come up with... bearings,   not aditional cargo, not aditional room for more mounts, no built in harpoon, no hanging lantern, not fixing the third passanger slot (no idea if it was fixed already),  bearings.

-1 on the basis that its probably a lot of trouble to add customizations to a cart, and if it was to be made Id rather see a lot of other things.   For now we can improve the speed of carts by improving the speed of the horses.

I think I would rather try to add the last of the V-8 interceptors to our carts and going all "Mad Max" with them, rather than add some improbable bearings.

Use animal fat as Grease?!! :D

About time someone finds a use for that...

@Op I'd have to say no, a good idea though...just not one I see working well, to many things already to get the "max speed" that need imped/repaired constantly imo
