Posted February 14, 2014 It seems to me that you can lead with many (all?) items now. It does still require that you have SOMETHING active, but now it doesn't care what item that is. I used a pickaxe, maul, corn and even my inventory. Had reports come in that water works, dirt, flint/steel. Minor bug, but clearly unintended.
Posted February 14, 2014 I heard through the grapevine that if your horse has a bridle, you are now able to lead without a rope as long as something is activated in your inventory.
Posted February 14, 2014 Seems legit, that's the sense of a bridle.
Posted February 14, 2014 Possibly a bug that something needs to be activated for the bridle to work.
Posted February 14, 2014 That is correct. A horse with a bridle will be able to be led without a rope activated. The need for an item to be activated is something that cannot be avoided though, due to the code. It is all working as intended.
Posted February 14, 2014 To add to the above, due to wagons allowing 4 animals to be hitched, we can now lead 4 animals at a time, rather than the prior limit of 3.
Posted February 14, 2014 (edited) lol cool. thanks for the clarification gms, but just a reminder to devs that stuff should be announced when its implemented on live servers lol. I've been noticing a few other bugs the past week too and I suspect they're also tied to the incoming changes. Hard to tell whether things are working as intended or not. Posted February 15, 2014 It would be logical that hand need to be activated to lead animal with bridle.
