Enchants on rare items.

As wiki dont says much about enchants on items, it seems they dont drop with use on active tools....   i can confirm that rare pickaxe dont drop enchants (coc,woa). with use... Could add that....

They 100% will drop enchantments, just a bit slower than regular.

My rare shovel has lost 2 woa and 1 coc, it does happen, but as Jberg said, they lose their enchant slower

Rare pickaxe for sure loses enchant power, as does rare shovel, rare spindle, rare ropetool, rare needle, rare hammer, rare mallet, rare ... you get the idea. They go down like regular tools. If you haven't noticed it going down you probably not used it enough.

I find that the enchants lower very slowly compared to normal tools. Maybe less than half as slow.

when you right click and examine the item, the enchant number changed.

The enchant power drops, which you can see on examining it, as the displayed number for the enchant goes lower.

That's for tools, and it drop as they are being used.

 

Weapon enchantments don't drop, I understand.   (Unless you use them as tools, as in chopping trees and the like)

Could it be that high cast and high ql helps against enchant decay..?

My rare pick got 97woa for a year +, always 90ql+, i surely have mined over 30-40k + actions using that pick by now.

ive used my rare shovel for over 6months now, it was 96woa 77coc, after heavy heavy use it has dropped to 96woa 76coc.

They do drop enchants, but it's so slow that it doesnt matter

Even a 96 circle 1ql rare pickaxe was only down to 89 circle by 93 mining. It's wonderful
