Posted February 12, 2014 Hey, I would suggest that toolbelts takes a small amount of damage throw use. I think that's would be more realistic instead of having people with 3 years old toolbelts with 0 damage. That might be kind of selfish from me because i am a Leather Worker and that sort of thing might bring a little more work for us if people ask for reimp their toolbelts as they do with their weapon to Weapon Smith. So what do you think about that ?

So what do you think about that ? Do you know how hard it is to imp toolbets especially 90ql? It takes hours to imp from 80 to 90ql even if you have 95+ leatherworking... So big -
Posted February 12, 2014 yes i know how hard it is to imp a toolbelt but once someone got his 90ql toolbelt he doesn't need a LW anymore
Posted February 12, 2014 (edited) If lanterns decay, then make toolbelts decay too. If toolbelts wont decay, remove decay from lanterns Do you know how hard it is to imp toolbets especially 90ql? It takes hours to imp from 80 to 90ql even if you have 95+ leatherworking... So big -1 Not that hard with good Woa tools. And not everyone needs +90ql.Im 80LW and im fine with my 60ql toolbelt. Posted February 12, 2014 (edited) If toolbelts take damage make em easier to imp. Balance.Edit : Changed to a +1 after a bit of thought. Just because it makes life a little more difficult doesn't mean it isn't a good idea to add to the game. Edited February 12, 2014 by Etherdrifter
Posted February 12, 2014 (edited) While it'd be inconvenient, it really doesn't make sense to have toolbelts take zero damage when practically every other item that benefits from high QL does. +0.5 Edited February 12, 2014 by EliasTheCrimson

Posted February 12, 2014 -1 even with 2 toons that have 90+lw still annoying to imp them to 90 just no or make it so rare toolbelt boes not decay
Posted February 12, 2014 yes i know how hard it is to imp a toolbelt but once someone got his 90ql toolbelt he doesn't need a LW anymore Replacing belts after death, imping/replacing leather bardings, not exactly useless -
Posted February 12, 2014 Replacing belts after death, imping/replacing leather bardings, not exactly useless i think the point of view might change between pvp player and pve one
Posted February 12, 2014 +0.000124 its just a toolbelt. They suppossed to stay fine for years but then again a little bit of dmg, a very tiny dmg should be fine.
Posted February 12, 2014 Can't believe that I'm seeing a suggestion to ADD decay into the game. It's one of the most frustrating parts of the game, and you want more? I would have understood a suggestion to reduce decay on several items, but never add more. -1.

Posted February 12, 2014 I just got a toon with 96 LW. I am also against this lolIt is a small thing, and it only adds convenience o the game. I'm also with silakka and think personal light sources (while in inventory) shouldn't decay as well.
Posted February 12, 2014 -1, if you add this in why not make backpacks in inventory decay too?The toolbelt unlike lantern is not used, it simply holds stuff.
Posted February 12, 2014 NO MORE WURM CHORES (in that silly Latino dudes voice from Friday After Next)Lol
Posted February 12, 2014 Um, no. This is among some of the more horrid ideas I've seen suggested...-
Posted February 12, 2014 -1 market is dead anyway this will make more chores.
Posted February 12, 2014 -1, since you don't actually use the toolbelt, you use the item that it creates a shortcut for.
Posted February 12, 2014 I'll not get into lw so I hope one of the leatherworkers is prepared to imp it up constantly when it decays from my smithing
Posted February 12, 2014 (edited) Tool belt's do take damage with use in RL so yeah this would seem right. Now how much damage? that's another question. I don't care about 90 qlty or the I got to do chores bit. Forget that whole argument of I got to do chores that is part of playing the damn game.
